For those who can't yet appreciate the greatness of George W. Bush, remember that history is always written in the future with the present in mind, but is forged in the present with the future in mind. At least it's always been that way in the past. So who knows how the past will be presented in the future? We won't know until the future has passed what will pass in the future. The history that hasn't been written hasn't been written yet, and that's where W.'s record of achievement will shine.

It certainly looks as though Mr. Bush is enjoying his retirement!
Heh, heh! Have fun, Mr. President-- you deserve it after your tireless service to the US of A! You did a wonderful job of making our country a safe and Godly place to rear our Christian children! God bless you, sir, and may God bless the USA*!!

President Bush will only be judged as a near-great president thanks to the socialist communist union-loving Hollywood-fawning DEMONcRATS.

It was the squishy LIEberal homersexual scum that stopped the brilliance of President Bush from borrowing two trillion taxpayer dollars to give to Wall Street during his prophetic and Godly effort to privatize the communist system of Social Security.

I just came across this thread, and I'd like to complement brother Jeb on recognizing that people just don't give sufficient credit to President Bush for the things that he didn't do well.

With President Obama's socialist policies continuing to lead us deeper into economic depression, George W. Bush is starting to look pretty darned good historically. Plus, when President Bush spied on us, he kept it quiet, unlike the incompetents in the Obama administration.

I found Pastor's list helpful. Around here we don't get much news except to promote the satanic agenda so not a great deal from Mr Bush. The only thing I can remember seeing was that man on Iraqi TV going:

"The imperialist swine pig dogs are horribly repulsed allah is merciful, just.

"Like the vile animal he is the infidel quakes and trembles surely allah hath blessed his apostle.

"He made them by mistake, Persians, Jews and flies there are many satans America is the great satan how by the thousand now they flee and hide certainly allah is all k.."

[US soldier walks in, grasps microphone]

                  Soldier: "I'll take that, thanks."

                  Iraqi TV man: "Thanks."

Well, the "future historians" are now just present historians, and they are changing their minds. They used to consider George W Bush the worst president ever. As of 2016 he's risen rapidly to second worst.

Still haven't, and as for domestic right-wing terrorist incidents, there's a mere 300 per year.

Re: George W Bush, as judged by history

George W Bush's greatest legacy was invading Iraq to find the weapons of mass destruction. If he had not done this those weapons would have killed millions and perhaps attacked the U.S. itself.

Instead of being used on us and other enemies, the weapons of mass destruction disappeared and remain hidden today. We can be grateful we had a President who, first, investigated issues thoroughly and, second, made wise decisions.
