  • Something Really Powerful in these Experiences

I am moved every time I read about a Christian who has had an actual encounter with the other world. Some have met Jesus, some have met ghosts and evil spirits. In every case, they have been saved by the Holy Spirit.

One recently was of a celebrity, a young woman, who had met with witches. Without God and the help He provides, who knows how it would have ended.

For some reason, these defeats of Satan and Satanic forces are not covered by the big networks. They should inform everyone about them so the ordinary person is prepared for encounters they themselves might have.

Mr. Mayor, other-worldly meetings with Jesus are the kind of experience money can't buy. However you can get close with a private session with the Pastors and a solid donation to the slush fund. Listen to this parishioner gush.

If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

“Underneath the Catholicism was the family religion on my maternal side called Santeria, which is basically worship of the dead, conjuring the dead, channeling the dead, things like that.”
I can't actually see the difference there. Muttering to "saints" that are necessarily dead (and getting a reply) or obsessing over deceased persons (to "channel" them) are both prohibited by God, therefore God has nothing to do with either cult. The precedent is established from antiquity, that a living dog is better than a dead lion, that the dead know nothing and have no part in anything we do, that we should drink wine with merry hearts and have plenty of head ointment.

Some trends in fashion are not rated by God one way or the other, hat shape for instance: square OR round OR round OR conical as depicted is pretty much a matter of taste.

Pretending you're talking to dead people is not hats. Jesus knew this and Jesus explained using a parable so we would know too, how there is a great gulf fixed that souls in Heaven cannot traverse; they cannot communicate with The Lost even if they drive at 200MPH along some imaginary road forever: ain't gonna happen. I mention this because we've all heard, “Oh, but that's The Old Testament,” and some of it is but the theme is fleshed out in The New Testament, from the words of Jesus himself.

Whichever tradition liars are beholden to, perhaps for bread & butter or garish pageantry, they all claim to be in touch with angelic beings or entities on higher planes of consciousness. In every case what they claim to do CONTRADICTS what Jesus helps us to see and involves PROHIBITED activities, which is why it's so refreshing to read about a Christian who has had an actual encounter with the other world.

Readers Digest published a list of several people who had died and what they experienced. They saw a bright light. While the people themselves or doctors or theologians might have their own interpretations of this light, the facts are clear. When you die you enter a space with a bright light. That is the corridor one follows to the judgement desk where your life is reviewed. Be ready.

It's the question we've all asked: What happens after death? These people died and came back to life—here, they reveal what they saw.

It sounds very similar to a performance review. The boss decides if you please him, or if you are worthless garbage that uses too many sick days.
