    Daylight Savings Time: Liberal Conspiracy Against the Heartland?

    Friends,

    As you may know, clocks across America are scheduled to bet turned up by one hour at 2 AM this coming Sunday as part of the federally mandated "daylight savings time."

    But what are the real effects of lengthening the day? In particular, what are the effects of the extra hour of sun on corn in Iowa? It seems to me that there is ample sunlight to grow our corn without the intrusion of big government into our lives and the lives farmers all across the Heartland.

    Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else perceive a possible conspiracy against the economy of midwestern states? Sure, we need sunlight to grow our corn, but too much sun will simply burn our crops and cripple the regional economy. Do we really need an extra hour of sun every day from now through the rest of the growing season? Or is this another big government Chicago-style plan to cripple our economy and keep us from the polls in November?

    Does Obama really hate the Heartland that much? It's just something that's been on my mind lately.

    I haven't changed over to Daylight Savings time since....EVER! It's a communiss conspiracy!

      It's worse than that, Bother Jed!

      By extending the day length the incidence of skin cancer will go up. This means more people needing treatment in hospitals and this is what Osama Obama is going to use to try to support his health reforms, I'm told!!

      He is more concerned with clinging on to his floundering career than the health of Americans and is giving people the cancer to shore up his failed policies, it would appear!!!

      Every day more right thinking American protest against this but evil selfish power mad Obama is only interested in clinging on to power, I expect.!!!!

        Nothing good comes from monkeying around with God's natural clock.

        When I was an intentional homo by choice, I would rejoice when daylight savings time ocurred, as it meant another hour of soliciting anonymous sissies in the public parks for anal sex in the bushes. An hour doesn't seem like much, but it means another 8-10 queer partners for the homosexual.

        I wouldn't be surprised if the radical fag agenda was behind this.

          Over here we too have Daylight saving at the end of March. When I'm witnessing to unsaved homers in the public WC where I work (as a domestic technician) the extra hour is problematic as the normally furtive gaysexualist become even more difficult to engage.

          Under the cover of darkness they find the courage to reach out (in a gay way) to others of their kind (it's like that scene in Hancock's 'The Birds' (but with the sodomite (not birds))) and touch, tease, tickle, tug, tear, tongue and trovel each other to satiation.

          Daylight saving makes it much harder for me.

            I always thought they just adjusted the clocks. Are you telling me Obama has conspired with Satan to gain the power to change the actual length of a day, against God's Plan?!

            Could this be why the Satanists claim that their demonic deity is more powerful than God, and that Satan is the real Creator?

            Oh, I know! It's just God allowing Satan to have his way, as ruler of this world, to help confuse those who refuse to remain steadfast in their devotion to Him! Very clever, God!

                      Thank you, Brother Jed, for raising this important topic. As all True Christians know, liberals have been promoting a global warming hoax to create a "New World Order" which is code for "Homo-Islamic Socialist Worldwide Big Government." Republican patriots like Senator James Inhofe of Godly Oklahoma have been trying to warn us of this insidious plot by so-called "climatologists" and their fellow travelers in the gay "science" community, but the liberal media continues to push the NWO agenda.

                      Well, this daylight savings scam blows the lid off this whole conspiracy. As any home-schooled graduate knows, God uses the sun to warm the earth during the day, and turns it off at night. Thus, increasing the daylight time period by one hour per day is going to make the world warmer. So no wonder temperatures are going up! It's so obvious, you'd think even liberals could see it, but they dogmatically stick to their global warming hysteria because it's some kind of socialist-religious issue for them. All we need to do is go back to standard time, or even deduct one hour so that the earth grows cooler.
