I NEVER said that science had no evidence to back it up. There is plenty of evidence. All I said was that each of us believe different things. I choose to believe science

This is absolutely ridiculous! The reason you don't end up somewhere else when you jump is the same reason why you don't travel at 500 mph when you jump on an airplane. "You are coupled to the reference frame of the Earth. While on the surface your velocity relative to the Earth is zero. If you start to levitate above the ground you are still attached to the reference frame of the Earth and will hover over the same spot on the ground.

It's no different than riding in an airplane, standing in the aisle and jumping in the air and assuming that you'll stop traveling at the 550 mph the airplane is flying."

Son, that doesn't make any sense. The Earth doesn't have a frame. Do you know what does make sense? Jesus created the Heavens and the Earth, and He wants us to spend our time serving Him (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

All this other science stuff is really a distraction. I should know; I homeschool my children. We study science and I've been led by the Holy Ghost Himself to focus more on Righteousness than physics, or whatever it is you're talking about.

You are a keen observer, Brother Nobar. I thought of this. If the world were round and people were walking across it, half the time their center of balance would be in front of them, half in back. They would be leaning forward when climbing, back when going back down.

Since it is flat, we do not make that adjustment. We just stand straight up.

Even an atheist has to agree with me the world is flat.

Reverend,I was wondering if you could be so kind as to answer my question regarding this post, as I am wondering whether these reasons really make sense.
If you are right when you say that if you jump on the globe Earth you should land hundreds of metres away from where you jump, why is it that when you jump on a train or even on a plane that you don't end up tens of metres away from where you jump relative to the vehicle? I believe in God and Jesus but I do not see why I can not believe in a globe Earth. Also, there is a force holding things to the surface of other planets in the sky, which we can easily observe are spherical, so I do not understand why our beautiful planet is different. I hope you can enlighten me so this becomes no more than a small speed bump in my faith in Christ and God.

I believe in God and Jesus but I do not see why I can not believe in a globe Earth.

I hate to say but the earth is round number 1 gravity on the earth is so strong that it keeps us from flinging across the world number 2 if you are on the bottom of the earth you should not fall off cause of gravity number 3 the earth would not be curved cause the earth is so big that it seems flat if you disagree with me look at pictures that nasa has took from space also I seem someone reply that if the earth was round the water would fall down gravity again also I read the bible it does not say the earth is flat

I hate to be the one to tell you this but you've been bamboozled Big Time. NASA has recently been caught for spreading the fraudulent images they claim to have been taken from above the Firmament (Genesis 1:6). Look at this, if you dare. I'm sorry but your beliefs will be shattered!



These are supposedly all of the same spherical 'planet'. All taken by NASA. How come North America varies in size by a magnitude of 2-4 times? Does the communist Canada swell some years and shrink the next? As you can see, it is all an elaborate hoax. In addition, the Bible cannot lie and it confirms the suspicions:

I have absolutely no idea what you tried to communicate except that you failed to understand the four corners of the Earth.

I can assure you that while the exact location of the corners remains at the moment in obscurity, it will be revealed in the very near future, when Jesus re-appears and decimates a third of the Earth's organisms (Revelation 8:8-12; Revelation 9:15-18). This is preceded by the appearance of four angels on the corners, and this will allow us to determine precisely where the corners are.

Presumably, you acquired your reading skills in the same Hell hole you learned about writing the American language. I guess you missed it when you read the Bible (why is it that so many of these heathen trolls claim to have read the Bible?), but you could have noticed the appropriate Bible verse in the post directly above your own. The Earth is not round like a ball (which has no corners), nor is it a box shape (which would have eight corners). It is a flattish square with hills, mountains and valleys. The argument you are trying to insert yourself into is clearly one that you cannot understand, though you take the side of the heathens and try to sound intelligent. Your argument is brought about by ignorance and the confusion over the popular labeling of the Earth as flat for brevity.
