The Wonder and Mystery of God is that although we are made in His Image, His Eyesight is Incredible - He made some really small things. Sometimes it is a mystery why He made them but - all things have their time and maybe we will know some day.
The Varroa mite is a parasite on little furry bees (You know, the ones that look like Teddy Bears and make jello.)
Now scientists are trying to kill them! Why would anyone want to make one of God's creations go extinct?
Researchers have developed a genetic technique which could revitalise the fight against the honeybee's worst enemy - the Varroa mite.
The method enables researchers to "switch off" genes in the Varroa mite, a parasite that targets the honeybee.
The scientists say this could eventually be used to force the mites to "self-destruct". The human equivalent, he explained, would be having "an organism on your back that's about the size of a dinner plate, which creates a hole through which it can feed and through which its family can feed. The hole doesn't seal up - they drink blood through it and inject viruses into it."

“We must reassert that the essence of Christianity is the love of obedience to God’s Laws and that how that complete obedience is used or implemented does not concern us.”
I thought they were trying to tell us that it was cell phones and digital TV that was killing the bees, now they say it's some mite?
Are they sure this time? Or are we just supposed to accept this on faith once again.
Then the atheists here wonder why we don't believe what scientists say. I guess they can just compartmentalize their minds so that they forget anything that was said early that disagrees with their current position.
