  • Nice to meet you...

Hello, I'm a traveler and art student, and I just crossed over this site a couple of hours ago, and for those couple hours I found it to be entertaining...but then I realized that this wasn't joke or sarcasm, these are actual Christians.
    More like extremists.

I found this site looking "women's freedom" for a project on awareness.

So I came back, I've grown rather saddened too. You all must be fortunate with the impression you left, it take a lot.

This is real Christianity? Or is the type of people who claim it to be? I thought Christians were supposed to be loving and optimistic people. Maybe it's because English isn't my native language, so I'm confused.

I see hatred for all kinds of people who normally don't harm anyone, and people banning them and insulting to those with questions. I think it's this kind of anger that makes those Christians walk away from their faith if they have simply a flaw or two. It doesn't look right, almost like you're denying your own book. You entitle yourselves with phrases that make you seem better than all else, "like I'm going to heaven and I know it."

Doesn't it also say in the bible that a person should not judge the sin of other people? According to Christianity, everyone is a sinner and none pure, and no sin is more abominable.

So, why are you all preach hate to your people? Especially for denying the aspects of human nature. It is disappointing, it shows ignorance of life, and I wish that I could explain more.

But it's not my forums , so you all can do what you please. I just come by to tell you that you are senseless, perhaps not stupid, but definitely living an irrational fear.

Christians are truly the most loving and optimistic people on the planet. We love all our Brothers in Christ equally, and look forward to sitting on Our Father's lap in Heaven. What more could you ask for?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Please link this website of extremists you are talking about? We are Christians, not psychics!

We don't preach hate, we preach the Bible. Sure, it has a lot about who God hates but we do not hate anyone, we love everyone!

That is not what the Bible says. Perhaps you should read more about how we are supposed to judge sinners.

          Hi, Morikeri

I think you didn't look deep enough. The only ones who get banned are being disruptive and disrespectful. They're usually upset from finding out that the Bible actually says many things that offend "modern" sensitivities, and that they've been lied to by family, friends, and clergy for their whole lives.

              Re: Nice to meet you...

I always wonder why people accept that all forums on the internet have ban-capability to get rid of disruptive forces, but they think that a Christian forum should not use it. I'm constantly surprised at the kind and allowing nature of the pastors of this forum who allow disruptive posters to remain without being banned. Their love for the sinners of this world is unparalleled, and I know that each one is dedicated to sharing the True Word(c)of The Lord with them.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I think the problem, Brother Nobar, is that we leave their disruptions visible for others to see how we are persecuted.

Other forums, like Rapture Ready, not only ban disruptive trolls, but also eliminate all trace of their existence. That way, it seems as though they are never persecuted at all.

Why, I heard one True Christian™ tried to explain to them that the Bible in no way suggests that pets can go to Heaven, but they decided that God would want them to be happy, so their pet snakes and pigeons and cockroaches would come with them! That Christian was banned.

Can you imagine if animals went to Heaven? You'd be walking continually on cockroaches and ants and slugs!
                  Bible boring? Nonsense!

The bible says most people won't get to heaven. Now just imagine the pets get there and their owners won't. Guess who gets to take care of all the pets? The True Christians(tm), that's who. Then it won't be heaven anymore. Ergo, by its very definition pets won't be in heaven.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I meant it was a logical error to think pets could be in heaven because the few saved would have to take care of the pets. Therefore pets could never be a part of heaven. If all those pets were in heaven then the saved would not have any time left over to praise and service God.

Eternity in the presence of the Holy of Holies, praising Him for existing, serving Him, isn't a reward?

Well, that assumes that there is need to eat in Heaven.

I imagine that God will eliminate that from us, just as He eliminates pesky genitalia and marriage, so we will not be distracted from serving and praising Him!

If we DO need to eat in Heaven, then perhaps the animals would serve a purpose. "Remember Brother Cranky's unsaved neighbor, Mrs. Johnson? These are three of her cats!"
