WHY ARE ATHIESTS SO MISERABLE?

Athiests seem to make a big deal out of why they don't believe in God, they go around bitching and moaning about practically everything ... like anything they have to say is actually important?? Seriously, why don't they quit their whining, and realise their lives could be so much more - if they just 'got with Jesus'.

Yes, Athiests are pretty pathetic. They're all such lonely angry hateful and bitter people, so I doubt they have many friends. But I wonder why they choose to be so miserable? When Jesus Christ offers them the chance to be Saved. The chance to be washed in his blood, and feel happy and whole and alive again! Glory! Glory to God! Only someone exceedingly stupid would you choose to reject that!

But no, these hateful grouches choose to wallow in their misery, instead coming up with far out reasons as to why 'they think' God doesn't exist! They write books about it, spread their hate across the interweb - because they're jealous of us! They're jealous of us Christians because we're happier than they'll ever be! Because we have God's promise of eternal salvation, and because we know we're going to Heaven! Halellujah!

Why do these grouchy grouches reject Christ? They see that all Christians are happy people, always smiling and full of God's love. But instead of wanting to be part of the blissful joy that is being Christian, they choose to attack us?? I don't understand it. Possibly they have some sort of mental problem, or retardation of some sort? Does anyone know?

Brother Percy, thanks for pointing this out – it is so true. I too feel that an atheist can never be happy – you see, it is like 2 men who are given a goldmine. They argue about how the mine shall be split. The Christian wants to go 50 – 50 on everything but the atheist, who denies the contents of the mine, wants a clear divide. After a lot of arguing from the atheist, The Christian gets the gold and the atheist gets the hole.



Can you imagine, as an atheist*, standing at the edge of that pit knowing that despite the “belief” that you forced yourself into and the gold you denied, you have absolutely nothing and there is no face-saving way out?

Well as you say, they're bitter, unhappy people. These atheists waste their lives trying to find happiness and satisfaction without God. True Christians™ know that's impossible, but atheists are exceptionally stupid people, so they don't.

Your typical atheist is angry. They feel anger toward their fellow man, and they feel angry toward Jesus. They live without any moral compass whatsoever, so they tend to be drunks, drug addicts, perverts, murderers, liars and theives. They demand that we Christians tolerate all manner of perversion and sin, but THEY don't feel the need to tolerate Christ. They lash out at anyone who disagrees with them, yet they don't have any specific beliefs of their own, outside of the notion that their grandparents were monkeys.

I guess that idea would make me pretty angry too.

If I was an atheist and had nothing to live for, I might be sad, too. Maybe that's why they're such big sluts, because they want to get as much as they can before it's too late.

I think most of the time these people are just angry at GOD because they think of Him as a big, judgemental bully who is out to ruin their fun.

But is it possible there are atheists who really don't believe in GOD? I mean, they actually don't believe there's anything out there? I can't imagine how depressing and miserable that must be.

I can't imagine the fear and desparation that will go through the atheist's mind when the day of judgement comes and they have to face the wrath of the precious savior they rejected.

I once met an atheist who said that he would be happy with one life if he could just make the best of what time he had, and some nonsense about making the world a better place for his children. I heartily rebuked him and pleaded with him to accept the GOD that I KNOW is real and who loves me and takes care of me. I argued for hours, redfaced and desparate for him to see the truth. But in the end, he refused to share the happiness I've found.

The funniest thing is... the atheists that I know are actually about 3x happier than any Christian I've ever met. It's crazy. The atheists tend to be more cynical up front, while the Christians just grin... but when you are invited into their houses and get to know them, things become very different.

The atheists have been extremely open, and very content with their lives. Easy going, not stressed and have seemed to genuinely care about the company and well being of others. Possibly the closest I've seen to altruistic behavior.

The "hardcore" Christians I have gotten to know have all shown themselves to be very scared, frightened people. Many of which "breakdown" when they are away from the public-eye due to stress. I can only assume that believing you are a miserable, worthless creature that is only saved by the grace of another could do that to someone. I've also found that they do not have the same general concern for others. Most of the "nice" things they do are "self-motivated" by means of avoiding hellfire and to impress the Lord.

These are only my observations of course, and I do not say that these description account for everyone within these two groups obviously...

That's funny, because I've NEVER met a happy Atheist! Everytime I go up to one, and try to tell them about the love of Jesus Christ, they respond with nothing but anger and cuss-words! I've had Bible tracts thrown back in my face, had them spit at me, and been subject to all sorts of abuse, for just trying to help them! Happy atheists? You're joking, right?

Probably because it's dealt with on a regular basis. Same way that you guys react (from what I've seen on this website) to say... a Muslim coming in and preaching that you all will burn eternally if you don't accept his beliefs, and preaching the love of Mohammad. I've seen the "Christians" here act extremely hostile here.. including the use of horrendous language.

I have no doubt that YOUR encounters with atheists have been unpleasant, especially when starting the conversation with the topic of Jesus. Next time, why don't you leave religion out of it and actually get to know them... or even (if you must talk about religion) Why they believe what they do.
