I watched the Deathly Hallows episode 1 yesterday. Sure I know about the sinister idea to trick kids into rebellion and witchcraft. But my study shows that the Harry Potter franchise might be more sinister than previously thought.
Among the main characters, Hermione is probably the least sinful one. She prefers to absorb knowledge before being a harlot. If her dad spanked her diligently, she would study the Bible instead of witchcraft, and become a good Christian.
But in the end of the episode, she is captured by Bellatrix, a lesbian goth villain. Hermione is punished with a fate worse than fire, normal rape and death – gay rape. In order to keep the teen rating, the horrible rape is mostly out of camera view, but her agonizing screams and traumatized expression after the assault are obvious. Sure, she needs punishment, but a little spanking for her disobeying attitude towards the conservative teacher Umbridge is previous episode would do.
What about the other: Harry Potter and Ron?
Harry Potter commits adultery. 1 Corinthians 6:9 “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,”
Ron commits jealousy: Proverbs 14:30 “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones”.
Ron is probably the worst sinner, also being a bleeding heart liberal when he bumps up from nowhere and save Harry Potter from his punishment of being trapped under ice.
