I'm also here to say that I am not only Black, but Pansexual, Believes in God and Science, and a Protestant.

And I'm proud. God loves everyone. There is no chosen race. A True Christian is to love everyone and hate no one. So now, why must you come here to this Earth and spread hatred and lies? Why blindly follow something without using your head, your heart? Are you so deluded that if someone looks even the slightest different, they are automatically of sin and nothing else?

A Christian is someone who has decided to entrust his or her life to Jesus Christ. A Christian trusts Christ for forgiveness of sin, a right standing before God, and guidance in life.
Christian's are sometimes referred to as "born again" because Jesus said that one must be born of the water (the physical birth) and the Spirit:

John 3:3-7 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?" 5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 "Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

To be born again--born of the Spirit--a person must place his or her trust in Jesus Christ (See How does one become a Christian?. The Spirit of Jesus Christ actually comes to dwell within the new Christian, giving newness of life--His life.
In sum, Christ makes a Christian a Christian. Going to church does not make a person a Christian. A special ceremony can't do it. And nobody can be a Christian by trying to be a good person. Only Jesus Christ can make a person a Christian:

John 1:12,13 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Unfortunately, there are people who try to wear the label Christian who have no idea what being a Christian is. They make their own prejudices and personal opinions their scriptures and then try to find Biblical passages that support their views. They make the Bible fit their wants rather than their wants fit the Bible. You will also find this type of radicalism in several other religions as well. There are Muslims who believe that all Americans are from Satan and must be destroyed. This is not the teaching from the Koran (as I understand it) but again, man's twisting the teaching to fit his own desires.

You will not find the teaching that Blacks are evil in the Bible. What you will find is that the Gospel is available to all and that Jesus died for the sins of all.

This is not a debate forum. The purpose of this site is to praise and glorify the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is a place for Christians to fellowship and worship. The goal of the Landover Baptist Church forum is to draw people to Jesus Christ because Scripture confirms that salvation comes only through Him.

Luke 6:22 tells us that because we preach the True doctrine of Jesus, men shall hate us and call us evil. So naturally, we expect that folks will get their feathers ruffled by some of the things they have to say, and they will come on here to argue with us. Perhaps we have said something that upset you. Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. I didn't write the Bible -- God did. So if my words upset you, then you don't have a problem with me -- you have a problem with God.

We tend to get two types of dissenters here. Some are calm and reasonable folks who are capable of rational discussion. I personally enjoy discussing religious topics with this sort of person. Others, however, are angry trolls who are just here to flame us. If you are here to flame us, please read this first.

I know many ethnic people have an inferior education due to the limited vocabulary they are capable of understanding (I understand dogs can 'know' upwards of 100 commands!) Perhaps you should attend a Church where they hire a reader for you. I think once you have actually read the Bible, life will become much clearer to you and all the hate will be lifted from your shoulders. There is really no reason for you be a racist. Cant we all live as God intends per the teachings of the Bible?

I'm getting them from the Lord himself. Or, as I want to say, my Heart.

Now why is it that when confronted with something that you must always turn your head and ignore everyone? That you must mis-use the bible for every thing and any thing? That you cannot use the mind and soul that God himself has given you graciously? Why you always let your mind and your heart be stolen, why must you let them succumb to lies? That a person outside your group is automatically wrong, "weird" and thus discriminated upon? Why, in an ever growing world do you seek to cause more problems than we are told that you intend to fix? Why, for once, can you not stop and listen? I have waited. I have read many threads, I have listened, and I have accepted the things said and digested them. It turns out that what I know in my heart to be true time and time again has upset the contents within me that I have recently taken in. And, like others, I am here to voice my opinion. I am in displeasure. I disagree, and I have voiced why that is so.

It was expected that someone would listen. And legitimately respond with words of their own, in full force. A well thought out conversation. Not sentences, not witty remarks and one-liners. That one would never simply yield deaf ears to the world and always, automatically assume that all they know is right, and they know all. It has been proven, and it is evident, that we are mortal. Nothing but simple men. We are not gods. Only God himself could know all. A wise man once said that "I know is that I know nothing."

I assumed that no passive-aggressive response would be made time and time again, that a incredibly ignorant and selfish interpretation or even imposed form of thought would ever be said as if it were the right thing to say.

It is safe to assume that this time, for all the right reasons, I was wrong about this place. It will forever remain as it is. Intangible Delusions.

The bible is a Philosophical Rule Book, or so I am to believe. God hath brought it here for ALL of us, to follow. But some have taken this too far, misinterpreted things, taken things too literally.

The bible was not written in English, it was translated. How does one not know that evil could have itself scribed wrong into the holy book?

Deuteronomy 14:2 . That itself, goes against everything that the Bible, and Christ, has taught me. How does one know? One does not know that this is true. And even so, it is still not right to -hate- others "simply because". It isn't even right to hate.

However, this is only my opinion, no one has to listen or agree. Rest assured that only the Angels themselves have listened.
