  • Welcome to the Call Center, Please Hold for an Associate Introduction

Greetings to all the members of site.
I was advised by one of the members to create a thread here to introduce myself. Zechariah Smyth to be specific.
To be honest, I am not a Christian. But that does NOT mean I am against the religion in any manner. It follows that I am not very familiar with Bible and have no church where I go. I became a member of the forums to ask the members a bit about the beliefs in Christianity. I am looking forward to your Guidance. I hope it is all right with everyone.

Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Let's see what Jesus has to say about the part I bolded:

(Matthew 12:30) "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

Why are you against Jesus? All He did was get nailed to a cross so that His Blood could wash away your sins.

    Yours in Christ,

      Hello Mr. Reasoner.

As far as I can make out you are a non-believer. This worries me somewhat as God tells us this about people such as youself:

      Revelation 21:8

But the fearefull, and vnbeleeuing, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all lyars, shall haue their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I will say a prayer for you in the hope that you will repent and accept The Lord Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour.

As far as your knowledge of The Holy Bible goes, try picking it up start reading at Genesis 1:1 and finish at Revelation 22:21. Then start again.
      Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

If you want to learn about our beliefs the absolute best thing that you can do is read the Bible front to back.

That will get you up to speed in no time and you can join us in praising Jesus until (God willing) we all get Raptured up to Heaven.

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

And as for the quote, I'm neither a murderer, nor a sorcerer(!) and none of the mentioned. So you don't need to worry, I'm fine. I'll try reading the Bible, though

Read it again, Tonto. Here, I'll even bold the relevant part for you:

(Matthew 12:30) "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

That's Jesus talking, son. Are you listening?

The problem is, bubba, that you are not a Christian. Ergo, as you do not believe in the One True God, you are damned to an eternity of torment at the hands of Satan and his minions.

Of course you're against Him. He commanded you to worship Him and even told you what the consequences would be if you didn't know (you burn in Hell forever ) and you aren't doing that.

So what kind of a God do you believe in, if not the God of the Bible? One of your own imagination who panders to your every whim?

Hindu people do not believe in God. You believe in made up blue demons with like 50 arms and teeth that would put an english woman to shame.

How many gods do you have? 15, 16, 20?

Which one do you bow down to idolator?

By the way. What is the dot for in the middle of your head? Is it a target of some kind?

Hi, Reasoner! It seems to me that you and the good True Christian folks here on this site are talking at cross purposes. What these helpful people are trying to point out to you is that your situation is a lot more precautious than you realize. The Bible is the Word of the One True God, and as such, it requires you to familiarize yourself with what God thinks about you and all matters that concern you, and not being familiar with that information does not excuse you from accountability before God. What worries the True Christians here is the fact that you are not a follower of Jesus, have not received His gift of salvation, and yet, you see no problem with where you stand and what that entails for you. There is an urgency in your position that you seem to be blissfully unaware of, and so these caring folk are warning you in no uncertain terms to hear the Truth, take it to heart, repent and become a true believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Failure to do so will result in your being condemned to eternal punishment in the fiery pits of hell. You don't have to take our word for it, read it for yourself in the Bible.
Joshua 1:6: "Bee strong, and of a good courage: for vnto this people shalt thou diuide for an inheritance the land which I sware vnto their fathers to giue them".
