  • Day 335: Galatians 1-3

In our breathtaking journey across the times and spaces of God's Holy Word we've reached the Epistle to the Galatians. The principal issues in today's reading are as follows:
    • Paul not only presents us (again) his CV but also testimonials of recommendation by other apostles.
    • Paul sees how False Christians begin their unending quest to stain True Faith™.
    • Paul condemns Mormonism.
    • Everyone can be Saved by Faith on Jesus, even Jews, but not everyone is Abraham's seed.

In Galatians 1 we once more learn how Paul is a True Apostle™, as he saw the Resurrected Christ. He greets his Brethren in Galatia with happy tones (Galatians 1:3-5) that soon turns into astonishment as Paul realizes how the Galatians have accepted other Gospels, i.e., they have become False Christians.

    Galatians 1:6-8
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

This is exactly what the Mormons did. An angel called Moroni appeared and gave them another Gospel. It is not the Gospel that Paul preached. Only the original Gospel by Paul is the correct one. Newer Gospels by Paul are also false except those that he wrote after the Epistle to Galatians. Let us pause here.

Who are the Galatians? Where did they come from?

They came from Turkey. Thus, they were Turkish. This means that they're Muslims, i.e., False Christians. They are also Ottomans.

Now we can see the connection and the cross-reference that Paul wanted us to examine.

    Hebrews 10:13
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

Apparently some of these False Christians, especially Mormons, will be taken into Heaven to work for all Eternity as pieces of furniture, suffering under the mighty feet of Jesus for ever and ever. That must be the ultimate punishment: To see us True Christians™ happily frolicking while confined to the shape of an ottoman. Let us go on. How do we know that Paul is correct when he condemns other Gospels? Because he gives us proof. He tells us that this True Gospel® is not by him but by Jesus.

    Galatians 1:12
For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

He also tells us with honesty that he is trustworthy.

    Galatians 1:20
Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

Furthermore, there are others who also trust Paul.

    Galatians 1:24
And they glorified God in me.

But, apparently, the Galatians are hard-necked and need more and more proof. In Galatians 2, Paul goes deeper into verification of his authority than ever before. Not only does he himself proclaim that he is the real thing, the Ultimate Apostle™, he tells us that also other Apostles accept him.

    Galatians 2:9
And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.

This is preceded by a brief interlude that discusses foreskin removal and the fact that Paul's bestest friend, Titus, had an intact penis.

    Galatians 2:3
But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

Thus, we learn that we must always keep in mind the moist covering of the glans penis in aspects of its removal or spiritual restoration.

    Galatians 2:7
    But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

This also proves that Paul is the True and Ultimate Apostle™ to the gentiles, i.e., those who are not Jews.

Next, we hear about the disagreement of the early followers of Christ about following the Jewish customs. Paul teaches us, again, that even the Jews have Hope in Jesus if they accept Him as their Savior. This train of thought reaches one of its clearest and most straight-forward pinnacles in one glorious verse.

    Galatians 1:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

The Jewish law does not per se bring Salvation. Accepting Jesus is the necessary first step. The old ways are removed and the Believer can start a new Life in Christ following in His footsteps and Commandments.

    Galatians 2:19-20
For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Again, in Galatians 3, Paul judges the Galatians with harsh but loving rebuke. It is quite apparent now that they are Mormons/Catholics/Muslims and thus fools.

    Galatians 3:3
Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

We are reminded that also Abraham had faith© and was quite ready to butcher his son because a Voice from the Sky told him to. That is the kind of Faith God requires. Instead, blind following of the laws that appeared as Hebrew text on stone tablets is not enough. All human life would have become a confusing mess had Jesus Christ not intervened.

    Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Who are those that receive this Ultimate Gift™ of God? The Jews refer to "Abraham's seed" as if it meant all those who are the direct descendants of this patriarch in a line of sperm from father to son to son etc. etc. etc. NO!

    Galatians 1:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

It is not biological seed but Spiritual and the product of Abraham's ejaculation is thus Jesus! Who can share that flow of Redeeming Semen with Christ?

    Galatians 1:22
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

    Those who believe can share!

    Galatians 1:24
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Those who follow Jesus can have this gift in Eternity if they follow His footsteps and fulfill their designated role in the hierarchy of the True Christian™ Community.

    Galatians 3:28-29
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

It is worth noting at this point that Paul received a vision of the intact penis from God and it was this vision that allowed him to make this statement. There is nothing at all in the Bible to say that Paul actually saw Titus's member.

A very intriguing and significant comment, dear Pastor! It is wonderful to have a theological discussion of high intellectual quality.

I agree. Paul could not have seen Titus's penis with his eyes but what about Saul?! We know that the body that Paul inhabited was had been previously occupied by Saul. We obviously know that from the Jewish viewpoint Saul was a man who followed the Law meticulously.

      Galatians 1:14

And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

Essentially, the Law would have prevented Saul from engaging in peeking Titus's penis (Leviticus 20:13). However, we must also remember that the one and only Mission of Saul was to persecute Good Christian™ men!

      Galatians 1:13
For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

The ultimate way to cause damage to innocent Christians is to practice consenting gaysexual sex in the privacy and seclusion of one's own home and still pretend to be a productive member of the society by working hard, giving alms, doing charity, and paying taxes. We cannot exclude the possibility that Saul did practice gaysexual matters with Titus during these days as it would have been the absolutely worst thing that he could have had done to Sweet Jesus.

As we have now established that it is highly likely that Saul did see Titus's penis, there is still one matter to consider. He became a New Creature once he accepted Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). Old things were passed away and Saul became the ex-gay Paul. Praise Jesus! But, as we can see above (Galatians 1:13-145), the New Creature Paul still had access to Saul's memories, so he must have remembered how Titus's penis looked and felt like regarding its apical covering.

      Yours in Christ,

      Elmer
