Your irony is confusing. Our God is merciful and forgiving and these very passages show just why!

Nowhere in the Bible does God say internet forums should encourage God-mockers. We come here to glorify God. If you don't want to glorify Him, you don't need to be here. But you will find your life will never give you that sense of peace and fulfillment without Christ in your heart.

Would he, with his infinite mercy, send those that cannot believe in Him (60% or more of the world population) to be tortured in eternal flames? Would He, with infinite knowledge, provide fake information in the bible to impede the progression of the human species? I've devoted my LIFE to studying the Bible, and you've spent 20 minutes searching for "bible contradictions" and "god is merciful" and "really weird bible quotes" and etc. etc. Do you honestly think you are the first person to do that?



Try to reconcile the following with your concept of a totally-merciful God (and yes, this is New Testament, and yes, that is Our Lord Jesus Christ speaking):
