Haven't you read the book of Revelation? That will NEVER happen. This world will continue to be filled with a majority of sinners until the day Jesus returns and tosses them into a Lake of Fire to burn forever and ever.

Our job is to help the very, very few people who will be saved. There are only 144,000 people from all of history who will get to heaven, out of the billions and billions who have walked this earth.

I know this may seem like a silly question in your eyes, but if you manage to "save" more than 144'000 people surely "God" would be open to changing his/her/it's policy. Or are we to believe that life is a big competition for the affections of an omnipitent being? It just doesn't seem like the loving and just "God" that we're taught about here in our education system and church.

I'll try to use small words since you are obviously of a diminished mental capacity.

God - knows - the - future! God already knew exactly how many people would be saved when he wrote the book of Revelation. It is impossible for more than that number to be saved.

It just doesn't seem like the loving and just "God" that we're taught about here in our education system and church.
That is because most of the churches in this world are lying false Christian churches, who do not obey the Bible, but make up their own god.

As it stands, you have NO right to question God.

Romans 9:20 But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?'"

Diminished mental capacity, theres no need to insult someone for trying to better understand something. I respect that you have your beliefs but that just makes you seem biggotted. It is all very well quoting scripture but if it comes to pass that one of the other religions is infact the correct one what will you all do then, lay down and accept that you had been wrong all along? You may be correct I don't know. And if you are then I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

I think I'm going to leave you guys to your faith and I'll stick to what I believe in. I hope that you achieve what you want to in life and live a long and happy one. But thanks for confirming what I'd been told about Christian Americans.

I have addressed all that here:

Why Christianity is the only religion that makes sense

I think I'm going to leave you guys to your faith and I'll stick to what I believe in.
            Enjoy hell, then.

Rational: consistent with or based on or using reason

God hates the use of what he gave us? Then why did he give it to us?

Girl, you might want to read the original post again. God didn't give us reason. The woman took it on the instigation of Satan:

                Genesis 3:4-7:
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

So yes, knowledge and rationality are evil things.
                Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
                Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

                Amen.

If they were so evil, why did God include the fruits in the Garden of Eden, still knowing that we would take them anyways?

                    Because He was testing us.

For someone advocating rational thinking, you sure don't seem to use any. God created a lot of poisonous plants too. Does that mean we should all go out and eat them?

                      Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Today I would like to discuss a very real threat to any Faithful True Christian™. I speak, of course, about the demonic practice of “rational thinking.”

In these modern times, where evil people worship science, that spreads lies and blasphemies against God in our public school classrooms, there is an increasing pressure from the unsaved upon True Christians™ to embrace their religious practice of “Logic and Reason,” which is an euphemism, of course, for slandering God’s Holy Bible.

Why do I say this? Because, when anyone tries to applies rational thinking to the Bible, it suddenly doesn’t seem to make as much sense as it normally did, suggesting the Bible would be filled with contradictions and such. This, of course, already proves that rational thinking is a form of demonic possession, clouding the vision of the “freethinker” to the Truth™:

                      2 Corinthians 4:3-5:
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

This Verse proves that, when someone says that the Bible logically can’t be true, the person saying such a thing is blinded by the “god of this world,” which is Satan.

God, Loving and Caring as ever, therefore has filled His Holy Bible to the brim with warnings against knowledge, always urging us to not follow our own mind, but to blindly obey. I will revisit a few of these Verses.

First of all, it was the desire for knowledge that brought evil in this world in the first place. Does the name “Tree of Knowledge” ring a bell?

                      Genesis 2:16-17:
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

                      Genesis 3:6-7:
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Here the Bible describes the beginning of all evil things, and as we see, it all began with men acquiring knowledge, and thinking rationally instead of blindly obeying God, as opposed to what God commands numerous times in the Bible.

Therefore, God has a lot to say about rational thinking. I will provide a small selection here:

                      Proverbs 2:6-7:
For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

                      Proverbs 9:10:
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

The only acceptable wisdom is the kind that is given by the Lord, in the Holy Bible. Instead of asking critical questions, we should fear God (if you need some encouragement, look up Revelation 21:8)

                      1 Timothy 1:3-4:
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

Questions are a bad thing, unlike scientists claim. Fables, like evolution and all other stories that contradict the Bible, destroy faith, instead of building it. The same goes for the genealogies; the atheist might ask us how it could be possible that Luke and Matthew provide different genealogies for the ancestry of Jesus; this Verse tells us that these questions themselves are wrong. Period.

That’s how I know, for example, that books like the one that pervert Richard Dawkins wrote, “The God Delusion,” are pure evil: they destroy faith instead of building it, because it makes people ask questions. This Verse warns against such satanic practices.

                      Ecclesiastes 1:16-18:
I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Even more, knowledge increases sorrow, and researching things in order to know them is a vexation of spirit. A clearer condemnation of rational thinking and people asking questions instead of just accepting everything as it is is hardly imaginable. Yet God has more to say:

                      Proverbs 3:5-7:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Do not think what your “conscience” or your “reason” tells you (thine own understanding). Do not do that what would be rationally responsible, but fear the Lord, which means obeying everything which is in the Bible!

                      John 20:29:
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Here, Jesus tells us that it is good to believe in something which is invisible, such as God. A rational thinker would never believe in something he does not see, as this would be irrational. This is why rational thinkers will not be blessed.

                      Ecclesiastes 7:16:
Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ?

This is another simple warning from God against the efforts of man to research and understand things.

                      James 1:8:
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

One of the main tenets of rational thinking is the urge to look at things “from both sides,” or “nuanced.” Adding nuances to the Bible is nothing short of clear heresy, of course.

This Verse further confirms that people who try to “nuance” things by looking at it from different perspectives (like the Biblical and a non-Biblical perspective) are unstable, and therefore useless to God.

In short, we need to be single-minded, as there is only one Truth™. This means that any other supposed “truth” that contradicts our Truth™ is wrong by definition, which releases us of the duty to investigate it. This is further clarified here:

                      1 Timothy 6:3-5:
                      If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

                      1 Timothy 6:20-21:
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:
Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

In other words, whenever someone tries to tell you anything that goes against the Bible, we should not listen to him and withdraw ourselves. If we would give in to the seductions of rational thinking, it would result in envy, strife, railings and evil surmisings.

To encourage man to abstain from rational thinking, God often punishes those who try to supplant obedience to God with this evil way of thinking:

                      Deuteronomy 29:19-20:
And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

God warns you: if you think you can decide for yourself what and what not to do, instead of obeying His Law, He will destroy you.

                      2 Chronicles 16:12-13:
And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.

Asa grew proud in his later days, and trusted in the ancient equivalent of medical science instead of God. Therefore, he died a year later, as we all know that medical science, which is in its entirety a product of rational thinking, cannot possibly work, as people can be cured only by the mercy of the Lord.

                      1 Samuel 6:19:
And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

God has been very clear not to be nosy or ask questions. People wanted to look in the ark, showing the same curiosity that drives people towards science and away from God in modern times. God then kills 50.070 people as a subtle reminder that obeying His Commandments always is preferable over looking around and asking questions, like: “hey, what’s in there?”

Finally, to all the rational thinkers out there, if you think that you, because you have decided “rationally” that you know it better than God, and that the Bible would not be true, well, very simply put, then you are just too much of a fool to understand the Bible.

You cannot understand the Bible rationally, you need to believe in it, and only then you will see it starts to make sense. Until that time, you are deluded:

                      Philippians 4:6-7:
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

The peace of God cannot be understood. Rational thinking is useless.

                      Job 36:26:
Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

You think to have smart objections about how God would be an illogical concept (asking uppity questions like: “can God create a rock He cannot lift Himself” and such), but this Passage clearly states that we cannot know God. Therefore, it is stupid to ask questions like these about Him.

                      Isaiah 45:9:
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

Again, God doesn’t like people trying to fight Christianity using weapons like Reason and Logic.

                      Ecclesiastes 8:17:
Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea farther; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.

We cannot understand how Creation is structured. That is why rational thinkers invent silly concepts like evolution: they really have no clue whatsoever what is going on anywhere at all.

                      Matthew 11:25-26:
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

You cannot see the Wisdom of the Bible, because God has hidden it from you. Be like a child (which means unquestionably accepting of whatever God tells you in the Bible), and you will go to Heaven.

Paul also has a lot to say about this in the First Epistle to the Corinthians:

                      1 Corinthians 1:18-25:
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
                      But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

To “them that perish” (atheists) the Wisdom of the Cross is foolishness (atheists always mock the Bible by claiming that it makes no sense). To us, however, it is the “power of God.”

God will destroy the wisdom of rational thinkers. The wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. And the foolishness of God is greater than the “wisdom of man” (which is science, the product of rational thinking).

                      1 Corinthians 2:6-8:
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The Truth™ of the Bible is a mystery, which is why you don’t understand it if you approach it rationally. Get used to it.

                      1 Corinthians 2:14:
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Again, the Bible seems foolish to people who do rational thinking. They are spiritually discerned.

                      1 Corinthians 3:18-20:
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Again, rational thinking is foolishness. Just don’t do it, okay?

It seems that Paul was really getting the hang of it while writing the first epistle to the Corinthians:

                      1 Corinthians 8:2-3:
And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

Don’t try to discover things, because you will never know things. You should love God instead.

                      1 Corinthians 13:2:
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

                      1 Corinthians 13:8:
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Knowledge is useless in the end. Rational thinking isn’t going to get you anywhere, so don’t even try. Charity is the thing we are looking for!

And of course, in reality even a rational thinker knows better. God does exist, that is obvious. The Bible already told that these fools would come one day, and they have no excuse not to believe in God:

                      Romans 1:20-22:
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools

Rational thinkers always seem to come to the conclusion that God does not exist and that the Bible is not true. This is because rational thinking is a lie. They are willingly ignorant:

                      2 Peter 3:3-7:
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

I hope I have made clear to everyone why rational thinking is such a dangerous thing. Do not think, just obey! Otherwise, Hell will be waiting for you! Do everything the Bible says without question, that’s all God asks from you!

                      Yours in Christ,

                      True Disciple
                      This is what rational means:

                      ra·tion·al
                      [rash-uh-nl, rash-nl] Show IPA
                      –adjective
                      1.
agreeable to reason; reasonable; sensible: a rational plan for economic development.
                      2.
having or exercising reason, sound judgment, or good sense: a calm and rational negotiator.

                      True Disciple

I have to say that this line of thinking is responsible for many in the world today, to turn their backs on Christianity.
The bible is rational and reasonable, to the point of being the truth. The only place that real truth is found.
So if you say to a scientists for example that God's word is not rational or reasonable, he rightly says, Christianity is a joke.

                      This what faith is:
                      Hebrews 11:1 (King James Version)

                      Hebrews 11

1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

So faith is not blind, it is the result of the evidences we see all around us , so that the unseen is real.
For example we look at the life all around us. We may even study science to see how these things were made. ( there is a difference at times between what scientists say and the science itself, so here again you need rational thinking and reason) So our faith is not based on just the bible telling us that we were created, but it is also based on the real evidence.
This is rational thinking and is reasonable.

                      Romans 1:20 (King James Version)

20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Do you see that faith needs the proofs to be real, with the evidence to back it up.

I sorry, but what you said in this thread, is exactly why the scientists or other people are turned off religion. And it is also the reason, that the bible is in harmony with the science, (it's just some scientists you have to watch our for)

Let's see how rational the Bible is.

-There are three sets of "The Ten Commandments" listing different rules. Guess they didn't do a good job when they were editing together different tribal legends (Exodus 20, 34, Deuteronomy 5). Exodus 34 is the only one of these lists that the Bible says is "The Ten Commandments", yet you Christians always follow the list in Exodus 20. Why is that?

-In Matthew 4, the Devil takes Jesus up a mountain so high he can see the entire world. That is only possible in a flat earth.

-Mark 11, Jesus curses a fig tree for not bearing fruit, even though at that time of the year figs were out of season and of course it couldn't bear fruit.

-In 2 Kings 2, God sends two bears to kill 42 children for making fun of Elisha for being bald.

-Leviticus 21 forbids people with disabilities or disfigurements from being priests or approaching the altar, calling them a "profanity".

-One day, three angels come to visit Lot in the town of Sodom. Apparently, these men were so attractive that all the inhabitants of town gathered around the house and demanded to have sex with them. Lot decided to assuage them by offering up his virgin daughters to appease the crowd, because the other people were his guests! (Also, a few verses later we read about Lot talking to his daughter's husbands, so it sounds like they were virgins after all). The angels struck everyone in the town blind and allowed Lot's family to escape, while fire and brimstone rained down and destroyed Sodom. Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. The angels tell Lot and his daughters that it will be save to go to the city of Zoar, and they got. Then Lot and his daughters hid in a cave, and they were worried everyone in the world had died, despite just having left the city of Zoar, so they got their father so drunk he didn't know what he was doing and couldn't remember it after (but not so drunk that he couldn't have sex), and he impregnated his daughters, who just happened to both be ovulating at exactly the right time. Coincidentally, these happened to be the ancestors of Israel's enemies (but don't suggest that the Israelites were just trying to ridicule their enemies!) Lot of course is still considered a righteous man. And that's why homosexuality is wrong.

-Genesis chapter 1 says God created two humans on the sixth day. The Genesis 2 ignores this and says God created Adam first, then made the rest of the plants and animals for Adam, and finally made Eve out of Adam's rib after a long period of time. (Again, bad editing of two separate myths)

The only place that real truth is found.
So the post you wrote isn't real truth?

                          Matthew 4:8 (King James Version)

                          8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

First of all he didn't show him all the earth, he showed him all the kingdoms ( governments of the earth, ) and the glory of them. How do you show the glory of kingdoms? What Satan was offering to Jesus was the ruler ship of the world of mankind. Satan is the ruler of all the governments of this world and Jesus knew that. That was what this was about.

                          Mark 11:11-15 (King James Version)

11And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

12And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

The answer for this is in Luke

                          Luke 13:6-12 (King James Version)

6He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

                          Matthew 3:10 (King James Version)

10And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

9And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

This is an illustration, showing that people that do not produce good fruit will be done away with. Cast into the fire, just means death to the ones that do not produce good works..

-In 2 Kings 2, God sends two bears to kill 42 children for making fun of Elisha for being bald.
This is when the Jews were criticizing God representatives. The Jews were always in trouble for doing this sort of thing. Also the Jews considered being bald , as a imperfection. The children were showing the attitude of the Jews in general , So God caused the she bears to come and killed those ones being disrespectful to him. This is also showing what will happen to people that show disrespect to God's representative at the time of the end.

Now my comments about the scientists, is true. There is a difference between the science found and the interpretation of that science, by the scientists.
For example the scientist have no idea how life could come about, on it's own . They also can not prove that life evolves, and have never seen it happen.
The truth is that the bible and science does not conflict at all. It is only the scientists interpretation of science, that causes a problem.

And how can Satan be the ruler of all governments when the Bible says:

Romans 13:1Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 2Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

                              An imperfection like
being blind, lame, a dwarf, having a disfigured nose or skin blemishes, damaged testicles, hands or feet, crooked backs, having scurvy or scabs or anything superfluous? I wonder where the Jews could have gotten an idea like that.

Leviticus 21: 16And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
                              20Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

No answer to my other points?

                              Further unreasonableness in the Bible:

-In 1 Samuel 1, Hannah, overjoyed that God has finally lifted the curse on her body that kept her from having babies, promises to give over her son as soon as he is born to be raised as a priest, to serve at the altar of God for all his life. God gives a woman a baby just so she can increase her status in society, not so she can enjoy having a son. And that's wonderful. Also, it's fine to force a child from the time he is born into a life serving God. Who cares about his free will?

-In Luke 9, two men ask to follow Jesus. One asks only to be able to bury his father first. The other asks to say goodbye to his family. Because of this, Jesus denies them from being able to do so. Apparently, God's interest is to break people apart from their family members. It is unallowable that you even take a short moment to depart from them, or to bury your father. The Bible promoting family values once more.

-Matthew 17 says if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Why can't you?

-In John 14:12, Jesus says if you believe in Him, you can perform miracles just like he did, and even greater. Why don't Christians do this?

-John 14:14 says anything you ask in Jesus' name will be given to you. Yet many people ask for things in Jesus name and never receive it.

-Ezekiel 26 says the city of Tyrus would be destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar and never be rebuilt. That did not happen.

-In Luke 21, Jesus says the world would end within the lifetime of the people listening to him.

-Exodus 3 says that the Israelites will live in peace and never be disturbed. Didn't happen.

-Genesis 1 suggests that the sky is a solid dome holding up an ocean over the earth.

-Genesis 7 says that the earth was flooded, 15 cubits over even Mt. Everest. Didn't happen.

-1 Chronicles says that earth does not move, and Proverbs 8 says it sits on a foundation.

That seems like a flimsy excuse. Why would he have to take Jesus to a tall mountain to show him the "governments" of the world
The term mountain in the bible is used for governments, and worship for God.
God uses it for his government, or for governments.

2 Peter 1:17-18 (King James Version)

17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

Psalm 68:15-17 (New American Standard Bible)

                                15A (A)mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan;
A mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
16Why do you look with envy, O mountains with many peaks,
At the mountain which God has (desired for His abode?
Surely the LORD will dwell there forever.

                                Isaiah 2:2 (King James Version)

2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

This is not a literal mountain, this is an illustration of God's government, and that all the nations of the earth will worship him there. ( in Gods government)

Satan as ruler of the earth.

                                John 14:30 (King James Version)

30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 14:30 (New American Standard Bible)

                                30"I will not speak much more with you, for (A)the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me;

                                This is Jesus talking.

2 Corinthians 4 (New American Standard Bible)

                                2 Corinthians 4

4in whose case (J)the god of (K)this world has (L)blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the (M)light of the gospel of the (N)glory of Christ, who is the (O)image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (King James Version)

4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Satan is even called the god of this world.

This means that all the institutions of man are in Satan's control. That means Governments and false religions. This time we are living in is just like the time Noah , built the ark. Only a very few survived that.
                                That is the same today.

                                Doesn't this explain today's world?
