    Re: The 67 deadly sins of the New Testament.

    It's not my opinion. It's the bibles. "he who knew no sin was counted as sin in order that we might become the righteousness of God."

      I might also add

      Hebrews 4:15 - "for we do not have a high priest who is unable to understand our infirmities, but one who was tempted in every way as we are....yet was without sin."

          Re: The 67 deadly sins of the New Testament.

          Also, I love how this church goes by the moto "unsaved unwelcome" when I do believe the verse went something like "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

          Also, "he who knew no sin was counted as sin in order that we might become the righteousness of God."

          Specifically the "no sin" part. This doesn't say sin of the time. This says no sin. No exceptions.

            Son, you seem to be quite fixated on this topic.

            Where in the Holy Bible do you read about Jesus sinning?
            Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

              Like I said before, the words we translated into "dung" were the timely equivilant of "shit."

              And I'm curious about the most recent thing I pointed out. How does one make disciples while not associating with the sinners? Jesus associated with sinners. He was surrounded by them. He taught to them specifically.

                Jesus also says,
                Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

                That's because:

                Matthew 10:34-35
                34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
                35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

                So if we really want to follow the Word of God, we should kill all infidels, even members of our families:

                Deuteronomy 13:6-10
                6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
                7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
                8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
                9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
                10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

                          1. Putting random words in quotes doesn't make them true (ever heard of the idea of citing stuff?)

                          2. So what? What's the difference between "dung" and "excrement," exactly?

                          No. (Hint: read the story about a coin).

                                I would venture to say no one would be willing to join a group of people who have so strongly rejected them in the past. I was a firm believer and was actually employed at a church for several years, but people like I've seen here taught me that there can't truly be a god. I never again want to be associated with the hateful group called "Christians" who live in a world in which they believe they are any better than every other human alive. We're all made of the exact same stuff. No one is any better than anyone else, yet I was taught to look down upon people who were doing nothing but trying to make the world a better place an help one another. If being a Christian means calling people trash, then I want no place in it. The world would be a much more peaceful place if religion never existed. Christians do nothing but tear people down and expect those people to join them. You only believe what you do because it's been ingrained into your head. Just like a Hindu believes what they do because they've been taught to. You're molded at an age where it is so deep set into your brain that you can almost never get it out. No one stops to ask themselves simple questions such as "how was there a first 'day' without a sun?" Because you're taught to never question. The curiosity we've evolved to have has been destroyed by this. Our world is collapsing in on itself because of the hatred you are spreading.
