End of Life, Beginning of Truth: A Letter for Help from the Dying

Recently, I received this email from a sincere seeker of the kingdom of God. Below is the message and my response...

Dearest in Christ.

There comes a moment in the life of a man or woman when good news are all there is for a revival of the soul and body, such a moment has come today by reading my message without knowing each other, but you should understand that our bible tells us that our way is not his way.

According to the book of Mark 10:21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. One thing you lack, he said. Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.

I am Mrs Salima Benson the wife of late Senator Jeff Benson, we were married for forty two years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only two weeks, before his death we are happy Christian family. Since his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. When my late husband was a live he deposited the sum of(USD $4.Million ) (Four Million U.S. Dollars)in Abidjan-Cote D Ivoire,This fund still with the Security Company.

Recently, my Doctor told me that i have serious sickness which is Cardiac problem. The one that disturbs me most is my stroke sickness Having known my condition I decided to entrust this fund to your hand as to enable you utilize this fund according to God direction because I have come to find out that wealth acquisition without Christ is vanity upon vanity. I want you to use this fund for orphanages, widows,propagating the word of God and to endeavor that the house of God is maintained.

Zechariah 7:8-10 And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah: This is what the LORD Almighty says: Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other.

The Bible made us to know that Blessed is the hand that giver. I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this fund and my husband relatives are not Christians and I don't want my husbands efforts to be used by self acclaimed Christians. I don't want in a way that this money will be used ungodly way. This is why I am taking this decision to entrust this fund to you. I am not afraid of death hence I know where I am going.

Hallelujah, If you have to die says the Lord, keep it and I will give you the crown of life. I want you to be always pray for me because the lord is my straint. My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian.

Whoever that wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and Truth.Please always be prayerful all through your life. Please do give urgent response to this mail without any delay.

Dear Sister Benson,

It is with mixed feelings that I read your words this fine morning, which is why the Lord has instructed me to impart the following instructions to you.

I am certainly sorry for the loss of your husband, Jeff, but it is even more regrettable that you didn't have any children. For the scripture says "Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety." (I Timothy 2:15)

For you, this is terrible news. You've been married 42 years and never had a child. And here you are on your deathbed without a way to satisfy the demands of this inspired Bible verse. You say you are not afraid of death and that you know where you are going.

My dear, it is with a great sense of regret that I must inform you that you are most certainly NOT going to heaven. There is no longer any hope for you at all. You will succumb to your cardiac condition or your stroke (whichever God kills you with first) and close your eyes in death, only to wake up in the fiery throws of Gehenna to begin your everlasting torment: "where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:44)

"The smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever" (Revelation 14:11)

I am truly sorry, but there is literally no hope for you now that you can't bear children. The good news is, you can spend your final days warning other women to bear God-fearing children while they can to help secure their salvation. Please reply to this email and we can put together a mailing list so that in the pitifully short amount of time you have left, we can reach out with the soul-saving message of grace.

As for the $4,000,000 US dollars you mentioned, Landover Baptist and the various and far-reaching soul-saving efforts she is responsible for will most definitely put to use your money. Your money will go very far indeed to ensure that many fewer precious souls will be forced to die and wake up in the dreaded bowels of hell for a ceaseless eternity's night.

We'll be in touch. Pray, take your pain relievers, and who knows...maybe God will be so good as to give you tranquility in the last few moments of life you have left on this earth.

Touching stuff.

At least she'll go through the rest of eternity with some consolation that one person had the courage to tell her the truth about God's plan for women rather than being tortured by the knowledge that she went through life unknowingly damning herself and nobody ever lifted a finger in charity to her. It's a shame God chose to inspire her to contact LBC far too late, but He must have had His reasons. Perhaps His purpose was to set her as an example for other women as you suggest.

The love and majesty of the Lord in creating women solely as a companion for men and to bear children is a gift that ought never to be spurned and if this woman's eternal damnation can at least be used to save others from making the same mistake then she is a living parable.

I don't see how God's greatness can be in doubt!

I too received an email with a similar (if not the same) message by either her or someone in her same predicament. I deleted it unceremoniously. Now I wish I would have fashioned a reply that approached your eloquence of speech. I salute you. Your reply was warm, even if you told Sister Benson that her final destination would be warmer still. I hope it disavowed her of being a Fuzzy Bunny Cafeteria Christian though at this point she is beyond help.
