Carbon, over time deteriorates at a certain rate which is then mathematically calculated to prove how old a given object is.

To the dinosaur theory, I read above that "the earth has been around for 6000 years" (not actual quote but simplified) yet now you say that they have been lying in the ground which pretty much contradicts yourself now.

I'm leading to believe I'm conversing with people pretending to have a intellectual disorder so that they can "skate by" in life.

TL;DR- no heaven or hell. Just a hole in the ground when you die.

I have grown up with people with disabilities including downs syndrome and cerebral paulsy and for you to say that for their whole life they put on an act sickens me.

Not everyone puts on an act for attention, friend. Some people simply have invited the righteous and just wrath of God for their sins. He does this to glorify His mercy, for all they have to do is confess their sins, believe in Him, and be healed! (Romans 10:9; James 5:14-15)

I don't like hating on other peoples beliefs but reading this thread along with the downs syndrome is a life choice? You're actually joking right? You guys take this way too literally. The bibles pages are tangible, but the works in it is far outdated. If you replace the word "Extra terrestrials" with the word "Angels" in the bible, you have another story.

And so because science needs various methods to prove things it's wrong? The bible was written in chapters by one person at a time. So that makes it real? Most of which was written away after the history took place. That would be like me trying to write a biography on some unknown guy who lived during the 1700s. No one could prove if I was lying or telling the truth.

Scholars seem to think science is in fact a branch of philosophy.

It just goes to show, so-called scholars and scientists can't even agree. And of course that comes as no surprise, seeing how they're all trying to make up the Truth as they go along.

Fortunately, we have the Holy Word of God to guide us. There is no mistaking what Scriptures says. It's right there in black and white.
