Scientists actually review their theories when new facts are discovered. They're willing to change and listen to other people.

The type of Christians here are exactly like the flow chart's description. Some guy decided to write a bible, thousands of years later a bunch of idiots are still following it to the letter.

Use the brain that God supposedly gave you and think about things before making stuff up. Actually, you didn't even make anything up, some other guy did it for you. You're a horde of followers who can't think for yourselves because you probably got brainwashed by your parents or some preacher somewhere.

Uh, science works BECAUSE there is disagreement. Without that there would never be any forward progress. Because science, unlike you people, is not afraid to question its own findings when new information comes to light. Also, the periodic table is much more than just "a list of chemicals," and those "new" elements were always there, scientists just hadn't observed them up to that point.

Scientists can’t even agree on something as supposedly basic as what they call the Periodic Table of the Elements. If they can’t prove this theory then how in Heaven can they claim to be able to prove anything else? Since 1923 they have ADDED 26 “NEW” elements, well if these are “NEW” and scientist claim that everything was created with the so called “Big Bang” where did these new elements come from? In 1902 they added an extra column to the right side of the table and even more suspicious in 1940 they added two whole extra rows to the bottom. Boy, some scientist even disagree with where Helium and Hydrogen should go on this “Periodic Table” It’s even more stupid…in 1914 they changed the whole thing to go by atomic numbers instead of atomic weights. What the problem? Well if science can’t even get something a basic as a list of chemicals right and have to keep adjusting and changing it, how can “science” hope to get anything else right?

Scientists used to believe that 'the universe' was eternal. It never started and would never end. They now agree that it started at a specific time.

It won't be too long before they have to backtrack again and admit that their guess of 13.7 billion years ago is wrong and that the correct age is around 6000 years.

Stating some writing from a book as evidence makes you neive, for all you know it could have been written by anyone. I could write a book right now rambling on and on and in say a thousand years someone could find it, read it and believe it.

Reading over this site is actually making me want to shoot myself in the face, your constant ramblings about how every theory has led to a "dead end" or "backtrack" continues to astound me. You say that the world has only been around for 6000 years yet the small fact of dinosaur bones found all over the world doesn't raise questions for you? Carbon dating is a proven test that is 100% accurate and tests how old a certain object is (for the lesser educated) yet you choose to believe everything in a book that for all you know could have been written by a guy named Steve in the 3rd century for a laugh.

I don't like hating on other peoples beliefs but reading this thread along with the downs syndrome is a life choice? You're actually joking right? I have grown up with people with disabilities including downs syndrome and cerebral paulsy and for you to say that for their whole life they put on an act sickens me. Carbon dating is not 100% accurate (by definition) and cannot be used to date dinosaur fossils (over 60k years).

Not that I believe any of that science BS, but I clicked that link that Didymus posted and it said that this so-called carbon dating only works (supposedly) for stuff up to about 60,000 years. I read that scientists claim (wrongly) that dinosaurs, or more correctly behemoths, lived millions of years ago.

So, even though it's all made up anyway, your science pals can't even get their wrong stories straight!
