    Re: The Hibernation of Jesus

The words of our Lord are hard. I must break for a few, but when I come back, as blessed at the end of the book, I will search for a verse.

The words of the Lord are few and found in the one true Book. I have made the book in half and will share with you now these monosyllabic words from EZEKIEL 6, verse 7.

And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

One may think, what does this mean, and I will train you to look out and see that those that you hate drop dead.

It is the will and the strength of the Lord.

There's nothing to think about. Words of Our Lord need to be read literally, without Scripture-twisting interpretations (2 Peter 1:20). Read this verse in context:

        Ezekiel 6:1-6
1 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Our Merciful Lord is pretty clear. When His chosen people are suffering, and their cities are destroyed, it is our Lord's doing, and He is doing it for a purpose: to show that He is the LORD.
God created fossils to test our faith.

Now, over the past week I've been obliged to associate with some heathens, only loosely I'd hasten to add, but I could see what happened to them when they got onto their pet subjects, all talking at once, eyes swivelling in their orbits, frequent changes of clothes according to the angle of the sun, weird looking bottles I was loth to drink from. And the ravings here, especially concerning postulated anærobic conditions of the flesh which is a subject no-one at all would ever think of in those terms except perhaps a chiropodist or one of those presenters on television weight loss programmes, in combination with his user name puts me on high alert. Lock up your pets, especially strong smelling ones such as elephants or pumas. This lunatic will think he's transmogrified and start barking or something.

And that always disturbs neighbours. As does howling.

          So I'm thinking pasta here..

Scotty boy....What kind of colossal ego do you have to imagine that you might just waltz into God's favorite forum and offer demonic "training" to my congregation? Who are you to "make God's book in half" and pass it off as valid in any way?

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

              Re: The Hibernation of Jesus

Waltzing as a rule does not appeal to my lesser intents except for the mysteries of Martha and her sisters, and I am reminded of the words of Hosea which has been described as an indirect reference to the state of Israel, which is sadly not a great matter of import in these improper times.

I will refer you know to scripture, because subtle hints and indirect comments seem to be failing as admonitions and attempts at communication between friends.

We as Christains study the scripture and interpret the meaning of the gospel which may or may not include the nature of the Holy Ghost who might or may not be Catholic in nature, and if this were a discussion among absolutes could be considered a function of the polysyllabic nature of the doomed.

I present to you now for revelation and resurrection of thought the simple verse from Hosea:

And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.

The italics are as amusing as the Vatican, and can be interpreted as fair wisdom if you know how to deal with clods.

                God doesn't do "indirect references."

We as Christains study the scripture and interpret the meaning of the gospel
Maybe "chri-stains" do so, however, True Christians™ know that Scripture should be read literally. God doesn't allow "interpretations:"

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

which may or may not include the nature of the Holy Ghost who might or may not be Catholic in nature,
                WHAT???????? CATHOLIC ALERT!!!!!!!

and if this were a discussion among absolutes could be considered a function of the polysyllabic nature of the doomed.
                Scripture, please!

I present to you now for revelation and resurrection of thought the simple verse from Hosea:
                That was a good one

God likes italics, and Jesus loves red. What's so amusing about that?

Um, I assume that you speak Aramaic, and you're 100% sure that "love" is a single syllable word in that language?
