They owe us white people for that ride plus all the interest since that time. The ship passage ticket would have been about $50. This $50 would be doubled 35 times. The sum your people owe us is so large it rather excites me. I think it is even more money than Rev. Al Sharpton has.

Hello Mr. Hold. I beg to differ. Shadow Senator and Statesman Reverend Jesse Jackson reckons that the white people owe the Black man about thirty trillion usd. We would accept this in the form of a check if that would help or we will accept automobiles and other consumer goods such as rims and coupons for fried chicken although I myself do not eat meat of any type in keeping with Jah's word. If necessary we would accept the states of Alabama and Mississippi and Louisiana but the white people would have to leave for other areas. That would be fair to everyone.

Exactly. Also, let's not forget all the food the slaves were fed. The masters should be reimbursed for that by African Americans, as well as for shelter and clothing that they so generously provided.

It is said that the white man grows anxious when large groups of Black man parade around. Sistren I must direct your attention to Genesis chapter 23 and the verses 5-6. In these verses we see foreigners asking for a place to bury their dead. Verse 5-And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him, Verse 6- Hear us my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchers bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulcher, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.

We are in need of funding. After the Presidential elections we are going to launch the new national dialogue concerning reparations for slavery. Reverend Al Sharpton has agreed to address the nation concerning this pressing issue.

It's a shame that Negroes today are so lazy. They're always either begging for money, selling drugs, or stealing. Back in the 1940s when I was a very young boy, Negroes who needed money for watermelon or fried chicken would shine shoes or dance for coins on the street corners.

It is a wonderful thing that many white men are interested in helping the Black man return to his home in Africa. Many Black men think the white man only wants to hold the Black man here in Babylon to be his slaves. Very soon the Black leadership will bring out a plan to recompense the Black man for his years of servitude and imprisonment. The good white men here in America and elsewhere will be called on for support. Once we have the large sums of money that the white man owes us we will return in triumph to Africa which is our home.

This reminds me of the colored housekeeper we had when I was a child ... Odetta was her name, or 'Detta for short. My oh my, did 'Detta love her some watermelon (she called it "wa'melon") while she watched her afternoon "stories" before preparing our dinner!


Sadly, the gluttony 'Detta reserved for her "African fruit" ultimately tempted God's displeasure; my daddy had to beat her severely before firing her for stealing watermelons and trying to smuggle them out of our house under her dress ('Detta was constantly in a "family way" by different men, so it was easy for her to pretend a watermelon was one of her many bastard babies).
