Today I received word that I passed my certification exam. I am now a certified equine gnathologist, with all the rights and responsibilities thereto appertaining.


My genuine vellum certificate should arrive in the postal mail in a few days. I want to assure everyone that I desire no special treatment in these forums, despite my obvious educational advantage over the rest of you.

The ability to print my own was an extra $2.99. I felt the savings would be better spent as an extra tithe in Sunday's collection plate. The LORD told me that I should not get all puffed up about my higher status in life and that I should remember to put others first.

I have been off Forum for the holidays but I am back now and I am posting again. Yes. I am hoping that you are not offended bit I am congratulating you for your education. Yes. As I am working as a schoolteacher, I am respecting anyone who gets higher education. Yes. Here in Scotland we have a horse breed, the Shetland Pony, that is being loved by many people around the world. Yes. Maybe one day you will be visiting our highlands and islands to treat our ponies. Yes.

Should the LORD call me to treat your ponies, it would be my pleasure to obey His command, regardless of the ethnicity of the horse in question. We certified gnathologists must go where duty calls. In our oath, we affirm the following:

"No matter the weather, no matter the circumstance, I will service my horses until my energies are spent. I will be blind to the color of my equine patients, focusing on servicing them until we are both satisfied."

I take that oath seriously, and I'm committed to glorifying God through my devotion to making all horses smile through the labors of my hands.

Sister Joanna,

I was just thinking of your dear mother a few days ago. How nice of you to wish me well upon the completion of my certificate. There are indeed many horses in godless NYC, most of them in service to the police department. In fact, I have offered my expertise to the NYPD and if the LORD should open that door, I will walk in praising His Holy Name.

There seems to be a huge need for my services in Kentucky but again, I just can't bring myself to relocate there at this time. I pray for God's guidance and His intervention in leading me where I should go. It is still my hope to reside in Freehold, of course - but I do not know where I would be able to afford a home after looking at the real estate listings there.

I solicit everyone's prayers for the understanding of His will in my life now that I have achieved this venerable status. (All glory to GOD).
