It's not looks. It's genetic information. A good example is a Dog and a wolf. Certain breeds of dog do look similar to a wolf. One may even mistake a wolf for a dog. But when you get down on a genetic level, you will see that despite the staggering number of similarities, there are quite a few differences in the genetic code.

Oh now you're on my turf kiddo. How much time and effort have you put into studying phenotype and genotype of dogs? How many hours have you spent studying dog packs, dogs individually, and the differences between dog breeds. Have you ever met a wolf-dog or a coydog? Have you ever even seen a wolf in the wild? Have you seen a wolf pack hunt? Have you sat for over an hour and just watched a coyote hunt? Have you ever had to deal with feral dogs and do you realize why they are so much more dangerous to people than wolves?

I can tell you that I can spot a wolf from even the closest wolf hybrid. I have unexplainable questions, but I have taken these questions to expert geneticists who have not been able to answer my questions. Even my vet in Canada used to accuse me of playing "stump the vet" with him, because when I came in with a question it quite often ended up on the CVMA website being hotly debated by vets throughout the country.

1. If humans evolved from chimpanzees, why are chimpanzees still around?
2. The Big Bang Theory proposes that everything in the Universe started from something called singularity which is smaller than an atom. How can you stuff everything in the universe in that? It's hard enough to stuff four suitcases in the trunk of your car!
3. If the earth really revolves around the sun, then why when we look at the sun we can see it plainly revolving around the earth? (And if the earth was moving around the sun, wouldn't we all fly off into space?)
4. If women were not created from Adam's rib, why is it that men have one fewer rib than women?
5. How do scientists know stars are "millions of light years away"? Have they been there and back? Do they have a tape measure that stretchs that long?
6. Scientists say all our genetic information is coded on DNA. But DNA is an acid! How can you write information in acid? You can write information on a hard drive, but not a liquid!
7. People have been wearing clothes for thousands of years. Why haven't our bodies evolved natural clothes that come out of our skin then?
8. If there really are millions and millions of species, then how could have Adam named them all? Obviously, there's not that many species then! (Gen 2:18-22)
