There's plenty of stuff twice the age still standing OK and since they're not all "one of the greatest pieces of architecture ever built" (such as the Roman bath house in England) but have fared much better in the scheme of things surely the ex-cathedral ranks well below something not-so-great but still standing and in full working order from a millennium before? There are even examples of architecture that have withstood earthquakes and/or vandalism, some from the 1st century, some much older than that. Apart from bits that have been stolen and which are still missing there doesn't seem much wrong with them. They could easily be repaired. So in a landscape where architectural examples from 4,000 years ago, 3,000 years ago, 2,000 years ago, then this one about 1,000 years ago, then the 1,000-year-old one fell down but all the others are still standing………You really, really need to understand this. THERE IS NOT NOW NOR HAS THERE EVER BEEN ANYTHING HOLY ABOUT NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. It has nothing to do with God whatsoever. It was not built to worship Him but to mock Him. Everything about it in every respect, every use to which it has been put, everything it was ever intended to be not only has nothing to with God under any circumstances whatsoever but is the most blasphemous affront to His love and His mercy.

Whether judged by the standard of Abraham or Moses or King David or any of the Prophets or of Jesus Christ, Paul or the Apostles every atom of this structure was set in place to not only contradict God, to call Him a liar in every detail of His revelation, to declare the Sacrifice of Christ a waste of time and thus itself a monstrous blasphemy but to prevent others from ever understanding the message of Salvation and the Remission of sins.

The Bible is uncompromising in such matters. You should read it. Of course we condemn all other buildings where falsehood is taught as fact. Every building in the world containing idols should be destroyed. Occasionally God has permitted the idols to be removed and the building to remain intact, but not permanently. The Temple in Jerusalem would be a good example. Perhaps you could look something up?

I dont know who did it but I am on high alert these days due to muslims invading us and I just want to make sense of everything. That's why I guessed I think it was muslims due to all of the other incidents that involved muslims. However we wont know yet until the investigation is finished so we will have to wait. France is not like Israel when it was disobeying God. They are an entirely separate situation on it's own. Israel is worse then France


The Notre dame church is not an abomination it's a holy site. The only thing that I do agree on is that it being catholic is bad but I over look that due to how important the site was to Christian's.


Look up the reviews for the place and you will find that most will disagree on the statement that it isnt loved


There are worse places than nortre dame. Like witchcraft booths and liberal reform churches that don't have any significant impact on religion whatsoever.


Notre dame was a priceless Christian artifact which was really old and pretty popular even in today's secular world.


I already know that athiests will try and stop its rebuilding process and try and get it demolished. Didnt you watch Gods Not Dead 3. It's about a church that gets destroyed and the liberal athiest students on the campus try and stop its construction. They are going to try the exact same thing to this church because they want to spread atheism.


You have to decide what side you want to be on you can either put your differences with Catholics aside and stand up to he atheistic filth or you can side with the athiests that want all religion gone. That's pretty much the decision that you are at. And we all know where athiests are going.


This battle over christianity and Notre Dame is part of a bigger spiritual battle. This is about God vs Satan. If Christians dont stand up and protect the churches from getting destroyed and donf stand up to protect our values then we will be in for a rough time.


This incident will no doubt encourage more discrimination against Christians. I just know it. This is the most devastating thing to happen to christianity. Right now alot of Christians are angry and upset in media forums because of what happened and it's awful.
