Papist Pilgrim at Lourdes Breaks both Legs

Who says God does not have a sense of Humor?

I’m still laughing at this servant of the anti-Christ who thought praying to graven images could help her.

Sick woman who went to Lourdes to cure cerebral palsy returns with two broken legs

A disabled woman went on a healing pilgrimage to Lourdes - and returned with broken legs.
The family of cerebral palsy sufferer Patricia Mitchell have launched legal action against the organisers of the trip after she fell 4ft from a hoist.

Mrs Mitchell, who was wheelchair-bound, broke her left leg in three places and her right leg once.

Her family say she never fully recovered from the fall and she died earlier this year aged 63.

Her sisters Pauline Scarr and Terry Featherstone are now suing for tens of thousands of pounds.

Mrs Featherstone, 60, said: 'You go to Lourdes to get cured and she came back with two broken legs. It's unbelievable.' [Edit: Does she mean Lourdes is unbelievable or God breaking her legs is unbelievable?]

Mrs Scarr, 62, said: 'We want justice now for Patricia. I want answers.'

Mrs Mitchell, from Bowburn, County Durham, was born with cerebral palsy and had never been able to work. As well as her lifelong condition, she had also survived breast cancer and the death of her husband Ian in 1995.

A devout Roman Catholic, she had travelled to Lourdes several times hoping for a miracle healing, and on one occasion had met Pope John Paul II.

Two volunteer carers had just helped bathe Mr Mitchell when she fell about 4ft to the ground from a hoist. She was assessed by a nurse but was told she had not sustained serious injuries, her sisters say. It was only when Mrs Mitchell returned to the North East that it emerged she had broken her left leg in three places and her right leg once.

And now these minions of Satan want money – worshiping Mammon again!

How these weak souls get trapped into the devils trickery.

Zechariah 10:2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
Ezekiel 16:14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.
Proverbs 6:25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids.
Genesis 24:16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up.
Song of Solomon 1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.

Human frailty and failure is part of our existence as is the mysterious manner in which our Heavenly Father conducts his business.

Clearly, this seems to be a simple malfunction of equipment or possibly operator error (I am sure the related confessions have been said and sins forgiven) and as tragic as the loss of any human life is it is clearly God's will that this woman meet such a fate.

The gatherings at Lourdes and other places where the Blessed Virgin has appeared are a wonderful combination of every kind of worshiper you could imagine... sort of like a cornucopia omelette if you like and even Baptwits know you have to break a few legs to make omelettes!

Praise Jesus and may we all be so blessed by the Virgin Mary.

            Bless you, my flinty fidimplicitary,
            Father Mo

Re: Papist Pilgrim at Lourdes Breaks both Legs

The idea that people get healed at Lourdes is nothing but a modern day myth. People that pray to a goddess and magic water will not get healed. Statistics prove it...

Over the past 150 years, some 200 million people have made the pilgrimage.* For those who care, that's a success rate of .0000335% or 1 out of every 3 million. Furthermore, since 1947 anyone claiming a miraculous cure has to go before a medical board. "From 1947 to 1990, only 1,000 cures were claimed and only 56 were recognized in that time, averaging 1.3 cures a year, against 57 a year before 1914."* Since 1978, there have been only four recognized cures.* So, if you're thinking of going to Lourdes for a miracle cure, the odds are not very high in your favor.

This is nothing but a big con put on by the papists. Lourdes brings in millions of tourist dollars each year, and one can imagine how many donations they give as well! I hate these charlatans who take advantage of people in a time of need and fleece them for all they are worth.

If you want real healing, forget magic water and goddesses. Instead pray to Jesus using my healing video.

O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Pah, I remember a Belgian WWII vet with a wooden leg going to Lourdes. He begged the Lord for his leg to be made alive again.

Lo and behold, and so it came to pass. His leg started to grow some new twigs and leaves!
                    Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
