This topic is most assuredly scripturally and historically accurate.

No, it is simply reasoned logic.

Been to more masses than I care to recall. I even believed it at one point. I can say with utmost clarity and honesty that the mass revolves around the eucharist - idolatry of bread. Meanwhile, the imagery is Marian in all ways. Even Jesus looks like a young woman with a beard in man's clothes in a catholic church, what with his soft skin and dainty hands.

Is that what they're teaching in RCIA these days? What a shame. If you papists would only open your Holy Bibles and read the actual words, you'd know Jesus did not die for everyone.

We have a pastor who does not shy away from God's Divine and Infallible Word. If you have evidence that he has misquoted the Scriptures please do share.

However, the OP conveniently ignores Vatican II, the *Catholic* ecumenical council at which the bible and scripture were translated from Latin into the vernacular languages of every nation.
You're kidding, right? You're suggesting that the glorious work of the Protestant martyrs' would have eventually been done in the roman church in the 1960's? Do you forget the Council of Trent was held only because of the Reformers' great contribution to the Body of Christ, liberating mankind from the oppression of the Holy Roman Empire, and the only reason they held it was to figure out how not to loose more land and therefor political power?

Baloney. The Council of Trent organized the mass for the first time in 1500 years of Christendom. It was in direct response to the liberation of Christians from the "Holy" See, the Whore of Babylon. Read your history. Know what your church was up to before trying to defend it.

King James Authorized version was published in 1611.

Vatican II took place from 1962-1965.

For three hundred and fifty years, the Catholics tried to catch that horse and put it back in the barn, so their priests could continue to MONOPOLIZE the Scriptures, even though Jesus told ALL of His followers to spread His message.

...To call others out for their "sins" and then create God's opinion on the matter is the highest form of blasphemy...
Uh, what do you think your post is? Hypocrite.

Thank you pastor for enlightening me. Your angry emoticons and capital letters make me feel right at home and ready to hear the word of God. You are already teaching me! For Jesus Christ and God said "you're right and I'm wrong."
It must be wonderful in your bubble

The utter intolerance displayed by posters on this forum shocks me. For those posing as followers of Christ, I am extremely surprised that the overall tone of these forums is one of damnation. Jesus died for everyone, not just the specific sect of the Baptist faith to whom this site caters. I am aghast that a "pastor" would dare post "Jesus reserved a special place in hell for you." Jesus reserves no places in hell. Rather, by his death and resurrection, he reserves a spot in heaven for Everyone, even sinners.

Every nation. The Catholic church (Catholic literally meaning "universal") truly is the most ancient and accurate form of the worship that Jesus taught. The condemning jury, judges, and executioners of this forum need to step back and assess their posts. Who are we to post online who God himself has damned or not damned. Men cannot dictate the thoughts of God. To call others out for their "sins" and then create God's opinion on the matter is the highest form of blasphemy.
    Thank you for reading.
First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

Please make a thread of your own in the "Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.

And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.

I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.

Attention Catholics! Here is your proof that Mary is really a compilation of many pagan goddesses!

Catholics regard Mary as a “co-mediatrix,” that is, she is co-mediator between God and man, in opposition to the Bible:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
    1 Timothy 2:5

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
    Acts 4:12

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
    Matthew 1:21

Catholics grow up hearing about this like it’s a normal thing, a real thing. What their priests don’t tell them is this is directly related to the ancient pagan worship of various goddesses such as Isis, the mother of Horus. Horus was the ancient god who provided the same kind of communion wafers the catholic church offers today. Look at this ancient painting of Horus (also known as Osiris). On his head he wears the communion wafer that is still worshiped in catholic churches. To his right is Isis, his mother, and goddess, equal in value. To her right is Seb, the father of Horus, the one who impregnated Isis with the god/man Horus.

Here is a statue of Isis with the baby Horus

Note how the communion wafer, now on her head, has been incorporated into the stars above the head of the catholic goddess, Mary:

More damning that this is the very communion wafer is created in tribute to her! Consider this press that makes the imprint on each and every wafer a catholic take into his or her mouth.

The letters, IHS stand for Isis, Horus, Seb, the son, the mother, and the father - the catholic trinity: Jesus, Mary, God.

This tribute to Isis is embroidered on the priest’s vestments,

and even raised above the altar where the cracker is dedicated to her

Consider how the communion cookie is stored in a sun-like idol:

The sun was the favorite idol for pagans to worship. Note the halos of sun around the pagan gods’ heads

See how this has been transferred to the catholic goddess, Mary.

I implore you to read your Bibles instead of praying your rosaries, and confess your heinous goddess-worshiping sins and accept JESUS as your Savior and Master!

Act now before it's too late!

This catholic priest believes that people are saved by good deeds. He also endorses islam.

There are indications that islam was invented by the catholics. Birds of a feather flock together.

Matthew 7:22-27 22*Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23*And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I wonder how many of His sayings you actually follow.
