Yeh, I caught that too. All of the YEC seminars that I've attended say that there was a lot of humidity and dew, and that was supposed to substitute for rain.Originally posted by Nobar King View PostAt 15:20 the John Pendleton claims that there was no rain before the great flood. How could this be possible?
I kind of see where you and Paster Ezekiel are going with this, and I have to agree with you both: I too get a little uncomfortable when True Christians ™ feel like they need to rely on "science" to "prove" our case. All of the Flood Geology Theory is fine as far as it goes, but what more proof do we need than the Bible? Mixing in unholy science I think just weakens what we already know, and it adds crediblity to those heathens trying to figure out nature "their way".
I think what Pendelton is trying to accomplish is fine as long as he doesn't get too caught up in it. I have seen too many good Christians try to walk the fine line between God and science, and then fall over the edge to the wrong side when science fails to meet the standards and Truth of the Word of God._

Faith Brother, faith. Before the flood people had the faith in God that the world did not need rain.Originally posted by Nobar King View PostAt 15:20 the John Pendleton claims that there was no rain before the great flood. How could this be possible?

Re: Evidences of Noah's Flood
The Bible tells us that there was no rain originally, nor need for it:
Genesis 2:4-6: These [are] the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Rain is not mentioned in the Bible again until the Great Flood:
Genesis 7:4: For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Re: Evidences of Noah's Flood
I would say to the scientists who might oppose this, “Why do you seek to call God a liar?” You see, there is no point in it.
For a believer, we know how the Earth was made; to an unbeliever it has absolutely no relevance! How would mankind be any better off accepting the word of an atheist? How would that make the scientists better people?
Scientists even have an explanation for the iron pot but does that increase your chances of getting to heaven? No.
They may as well waste their time becoming an expert on the history of dumpsters – it really doesn’t matter! God did it and that is case closed.sigpic
