  • Will Landover Baptist Follow the Pope's Lead, Be Concerned About the Poor? Not a Chance

Some are wondering if True Christians™ will now start programs for the poor.

If the Pope wants to entertain himself kissing dirty feet, he can waste his time doing that. We at Landover Baptist have learned if you help poor people, you will have more of them.

Jesus does not want Landover Baptist Church to help lazy people.

Pope Francis I has presented himself since his first appearance at the balcony overlooking St Peter s Square as a simple and humble man committed to the poor, leading observers to speculate that the ...

You sir speak the truth. On another unrelated note mayor, is there any land available to buy in Landover? I wish to move as soon as possible. Maybe I can shortsale my house in Macon Georgia because God knows Obama ruined the housibg market so nobody'd pay the appropriate price for my home.

Handouts only lead to a culture of dependency, which is exactly what Obama wants. While giving them free Bibles might be an exception, the only thing poor people should be given is the advice to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.
      II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. As someone who moved here, it's a long haul. First you have to become a forum member (and I saw you insult President Bush ) Then there's becoming a True Christian(tm).

After that, to actually move here, there's DoF investigations, financial disclosure, interviews, it probably took us about 4 months until we were approved and we were already True Christians(tm) here.

Well, more and more I'm thinking he may be the first non-gay pope. That being said, I think his perversions may lead in a different route. Why did he name himself after St. Francis?

          And now he's blessing dogs?
Journalist Alessandro Forlani wasn’t sure he’d even be allowed in when the new pope met with the world media on Saturday. Guards had told him he most likely wouldn’t because of his guide dog, however Vatican officials let him and his guide dog Asia in and after the pope’s thank you speech to the media Pope Francis asked to meet Forlani and Asia.

Pastor Ezekiel, may you please educate me privately on which president is correct to respect? I am not that familiar as my judgement of presidents in general may have been misjudged. I will give you the cane to strike me. I am this willing to learn Pastor Ezekiel.

On a more related note, how come coloreds feel the need to blame the white folk for their woes? Technically, we saved them!!!

Of course! After all, the poor should be happy to be poor, because they have easier access to heaven (Matthew 19:24).

When you start providing money based on need rather than ability trouble is sure to follow--be it in your own household or an entire nation. Mark 14:7 Everyone needs and/or wants something and they learn nothing if you are foolish enough just to give handouts.

A lot of these parasites and squatters try to make working men feel bad by putting forth the communist garbage that everyone should be on equal footing. Well, and good but impossible because we can't all be rich. The same liberal idiots aren't worried because they don't want to pull the lazy sluggard up to meet the minimal standards of the working man, but instead they want to pull the working man down into the gutter with the sluggard meanwhile they sit in their ivory towers congratulating each other on what pious people they are when in fact they are in fact no better than the Pharisees: Matthew 23:27

I wish Catholics could make up their minds. The bigwigs told their flocks to vote for Romney.

Then, the new Pope kisses the feet of poor and dirty scumbags, just like a Democrat. Catholics, you are either with us, or against us.

It is no surprise that false christians would vote for a moron, I mean mormin!

In future elections the GOP (The GODLY Old Party) need to have a godly True Christian as a presidential candidate. I was initially concerned about Michele Bachman being female, but I do believe her husband keeps her submissive in the Lord.

This is not a reference of a homosexual relationship but a friendship of depth and platonic commitment! Why must liiebrals always make everything sound so DIRTY!?

I agree. I think his lisp and effiminent mannerisms are a trick to disguise the fist hidden behind his back. She knows.
