Sorry, but that's just not possible. The Holy KJV Bible is the LITERAL truth of God. According to God, He created the earth approximately 6,000 years ago.

By the way, God takes a dim view of people who try and twist or edit His Word.

I'm not saying KJV isn't literal. I'm saying that a day for God and a day for us humans might be of different proportions, being a universal presence able to live forever. You say that the purest way of interpreting the bible is to read it as a child. When I was a child and read this part of the bible that's how I understood it happened, because I had read a book of dinosaurs before the Bible.

Isn't there a way that both theories can be right?
To a supreme, inmortal being what could a day mean? if he was creating the universe he could have taken millions of earthly years, but to him that is a snap of his fingers, is it not?
And both evolution an creation have the same sequence of events:
In the beginning there was nothing, and so God said "let there be light" and light was made...
I'm no specialist, but if the planets and stars were created later on, couldn't it be the same "big bang"? because yes, there was light indeed on that explosion. What made it go off? who knows? but one option can definetively be God
Then God separated the waters above from the waters below... that, ladies and gentlemen is called the atmosphere. Again the sequence of events is correct.
Then came the creation of plants. The bible is right again because the first multicellular beings were some forms of algae, an then of course came the animals.

Oh, so you are one of those "day-age" creationists, who believe that the "days" mentioned in Genesis aren't literal days, but rather "ages" that lasted for millions or billions of years.

Let me show you how day-age creationism is impossible.

I'll assume that we all agree that plants will die if they go too long without sunlight. Well, the Bible tells us that plants were created on the third day, and the sun was created on the fourth day. Now, a plant can go for 24 hours without sunlight and be OK, but if you are trying to claim that the days in Genesis were actually millions or billions of years, then you are going to have to explain how plants survived that long without sunlight.

When I was a child and read this part of the bible that's how I understood it happened, because I had read a book of dinosaurs before the Bible.

So God's Holy Word tells you one thing, a picture book full of drawings of fantastic creatures that no one has ever seen tells you a different thing, and which one of those books did you choose to believe?

I'm saying that life could have been present on this planet without sunlight and the tides created by the moon. You said yourselves that the other stars are just scenery so they don't affect life on earth whatsoever. And palentheological records do state that life on earth begun in the seas. So they are not against creation, they support it.

Yes, I do not discard that some of these creatures might have survived the big extermination and then died out with the great flood. But then you agree that the fossils of dinosaurs are very similar to the ones describes in the Bible. Again, science supports religion.

I totally get what you're trying to say here, but that video is awesome. I've seen it on youtube and Edward Current clearly states in the description: YES, THIS IS A GODLY VIDEO! I just think you should find a video that is actually serious.

Well one thing is for sure, you're no "professor". If you were an actual professor you would be smart enough to follow church protocol and read the Pastors Rules and Announcements. You would have paid close attention to the "noobs" thread. You would have posted your very first post on the introduction forum. But, you didn't.
