oh and about the bible being made in 1611 i saw another post by a "true christian" brother of yours saying it was...but since he reads the bible he calls himself perfect so that makes his statement perfect which means it was written in 1611 haha maybe you guys should talk more before just posting lolololool

Nope, you said Christianity is made fun of all over the world, but the majority of people actually claim to be Christians, so they obviously aren't making fun of them. Sure, they are not following the religion correctly, but at least they are smart enough to realize there is a God and to know that Christianity is the right thing to follow, even if they are confused about what the Bible preaches.

On the other hand, atheists make up about 2% of the world, and are hated by the majority of people.

The study contains other results, but these are sufficient to underline its gist: Atheists are seen by many Americans (especially conservative Christians) as alien and are, in the words of sociologist Penny Edgell, the study's lead researcher, "a glaring exception to the rule of increasing tolerance over the last 30 years."
Edgell also maintains that atheists seem to be outside the limits of American morality, which has largely been defined by religion.
Many of those interviewed saw atheists as cultural elitists, amoral materialists, or given to criminal behavior or drugs. She states, "Our findings seem to rest on a view of atheists as self-interested individuals who are not concerned with the common good."
Of course, it should go without saying, but won't, that belief in God isn't at all necessary to have a keen ethical concern for others.
The study will appear in the April issue of the American Sociological Review and is co-written by assistant professor Joseph Gerteis and associate professor Doug Hartmann.

The King James Version (KJV) is an English language translation of the original Bible, published in 1611. 1611 is the year we got our English translation, not the year the Bible was written.

The Bible was not written by God, it was written by men, and how they believe the world was created. Why do you choose to believe one book, but not say, the creation story of Greek Mythology?

You put your faith and you live your life by a BOOK...anyone can write a book, it doesn't make what's in it true. At least science shows us physical proof.

I don't necessarily believe in evolution, but I'm playing devil's advocate here.

INSPIRATION OF GOD. That does not say that HE himself wrote it, that means (if it were to be true) that he inspired the writers. I can be inspired by a tree to write a story about squirrels, but that does not mean the tree wrote it. {and the reason it's called Timothy...is because HE wrote that section. Luke wrote his, Mark wrote his, etc etc}
