I must say a few things to clear things up. The Earth is NOT 6,000 years old it took God 6,000 years to make.

Where does it say that? Just to be sure, I had a look at The Bible:

Third, in Genesis it says "Replinish the Earth" obviously there was something here before man came here. You can't calculate the age of the Bible its impossible we don't know when he created man after the Earth was made.

Well that's a bit of a mouthful, but I'm used to that given the variety of nitwits that pop up around here. If you read Genesis 1 - it's not too difficult to find if you have a Bible around - look for PAGE ONE (it looks like THIS) you will see that there was indeed "something here before man came here" and I will list just one:

However God tells us that although He created many things, He didn't necessarily put them on the Earth immediately.

I suppose it is necessary to point out that God planted the garden using the plants that He had already created.

You can't calculate the age of the Bible its impossible

I would phrase that differently: You can calculate the age of The Bible. It's easy! Read LUKE 3:23-38 and do a bit of simple arithmetic ("addition" should about cover it - or just ask a 5 year old).

First of all scripture says that God wrote the Bible. Secondly, if man wrote the bible it would be as useless as a Harry Potter novel or a Superman comic book. Do you suppose Tiberius Caesar wrote a book about Jesus and posted it to the pillars of the Senate building?

Christianity is a faith based on historical FACTS. The fact of Jesus' life is central to Christianity and the fulcrum of all history, past and future.

Naturally, anyone could make up any rubbish they felt like and assert that as "reality" - but that doesn't make it real. I would refer you to Mr. Student's earlier post in which he asked:

The Gallic Wars were not just recorded in Caesar's own commentaries. His officer Aulus Hirtius also produced evidence of the events. Both people have been proven to exist through several external pieces of evidence, and as such were in positions of political power. As a historian, we must take this at face value, and trust the merit of these commentaries.

So the Bible... for a start, there is no proof that Jesus or any of his disciples ACTUALLY existed.
