Extreme Persecution against Christian Scientists after Their Study on the Human Hand Proves God

In January 2016, some Chinese (yes, there are Believers there, also) Creation Scientists (Ming-Jin Liu et al.) proved that God Exists.

Biomechanical Characteristics of Hand Coordination in Grasping Activities of Daily Living

They published their results in a very respectful peer-reviewed journal PLOS ONE (Public Library of Science). This journal has become one of the principal outlets of secular science during the past decade, as it is able to provide very rapid peer-review and judges the merit of a study based on the quality of the experimentation and conclusions and not on hype or general interest. Ming-Lin Jiu et al. had volunteers use their hands in different tasks using a CyberGlove sensor. The hand movements were then allocated to the specific bones and muscles of the hand. After seeing how the subjects used their hands, only one conclusion was possible, and the authors stated in in the Abstract as follows:

The explicit functional link indicates that the biomechanical characteristic of tendinous connective architecture between muscles and articulations is the proper design by the Creator to perform a multitude of daily tasks in a comfortable way.

Furthermore, some important issues were raised in the Introduction and Discussion parts of the article:

...hand coordination affords humans the ability to flexibly and comfortably control the complex structure to perform numerous tasks. Hand coordination should indicate the mystery of the Creator’s invention.
In conclusion, our study can improve the understanding of the human hand and confirm that the mechanical architecture is the proper design by the Creator for dexterous performance of numerous functions following the evolutionary remodeling of the ancestral hand for millions of years.

Creation proven. In a respected peer-reviewed journal.

Of, course Creation was proven millennia ago when Jesus published the Bible. It is included in the wonderful Chapter Genesis 1. Hands are a pivotal part of the Bible's message. Everything goes back to the Hands of Jesus!

John 13:3
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

Creation proven. We knew this was too good to be true. It has been established decades ago that atheists are believers who are always biased and never ever will consider God as the simplest alternative.

All scientists use empirical data to explain the world as they understand it; some just begin with a different understanding of the world. If there is any methodological difference between creationist scientists and naturalistic scientists, it is that creationists must (due to social pressure) acknowledge and critically reflect upon their assumptions where they meet scientific inquiry, while naturalists always face the temptation of uncritically hiding behind naturalistic methodology. If anyone has a special claim to being a responsible scientist, it is probably the creationist.

The Chinese paper raised a mayhem. The Editors and Staff in the PLOS ONE magazine were pressured by the atheists scientists and the result was inevitable. Total humiliation of the Christians, a retraction of the paper.

The PLOS ONE editors have followed up on the concerns raised about this publication. We have completed an evaluation of the history of the submission and received advice from two experts in our editorial board. Our internal review and the advice we have received have confirmed the concerns about the article and revealed that the peer review process did not adequately evaluate several aspects of the work.

In light of the concerns identified, the PLOS ONE editors have decided to retract the article,

This is what ALWAYS happens when Creationists produce high-quality papers and get them past the biased peer-review. In addition, the sloppiness of the PLOS ONE staff caused some significant problems in the final version of the now retracted paper. Had the Chinese Creationist colleagues of mine submitted their paper to, e.g., Journal of Creation, they would have received proper peer review and some fatal flaws in their paper would have been avoided.

I start by assessment with the references. The Chinese well-meaning Creationist friends of ours should remember to cite all relevant literature to make the paper presentable to the atheists community. If they fail to do so and refute the atheist papers, they will be dismissed. In this case, some key references were missing.

The evolutionary history of the hominin hand since the last common ancestor of Pan and Homo by Matthew W Tocheri et al.

• Instead of just studying the modern hand (what the Chinese did) the authors of the paper (link above) examined fossil hands and found intermediary forms between ape hands and human hands. This is, of course, baloney, but the Chinese authors could have read these very detailed (bone by bone, muscle by muscle) papers and rebutted all the data there is detail. This would have been an easy task with some Bible study and prayer.
• The logic of the Chinese scientists is irrefutable in essence (the hand it complex and can do many things -> it needs a Creator), but the atheists won't believe this unless all these intermediary forms and their anatomy are also dismissed and disregarded in a properly referenced study.

The second part of my assessment is the fatal flaw, so let us go back to the conclusions of our Asian Christians friends (or are they?):

In conclusion, our study can improve the understanding of the human hand and confirm that the mechanical architecture is the proper design by the Creator for dexterous performance of numerous functions following the evolutionary remodeling of the ancestral hand for millions of years.

Millions of years? This leaves us with only two alternatives:

• The authors fail to trust Jesus and claim that Christ would have needed millions of years to design a hand (intricate but for God's sake the Guy's omnipotent; Revelation 19:6). This is low-quality Old-Earth Intelligent Design nonsense.
• They actually believe in Theistic Evolution or Old-Earth Creationism, which are proven wrong by the Bible.

In both cases, they have failed to compare their findigs with the source of accurate information, the Bible.

To conclude, a sad episode. A scientific paper that had the potential to make the final breakthrough but failed.

• Obviously, persecuted by the atheist scientists but also failing to cite even the simplest secular source material that would have been easily accessible.
• Submitting the manuscript to a journal with no Biblical knowledge causing the disastrous error of Old Age Intelligent Design, which essentially makes God a nincompoop who has to tinker and refine His Creations all the time.

This is Jesus and we shall see Him very soon. Does He seem insecure? No, He does not. He'll come and smite the sinners. This PLOS ONE article was of the False Christian kind after all. A profound disappointment but Jesus still rules supreme! Very soon the Earth will burn by the Actions of Christ!

Dear Sister in Christ,

For a woman, you always have valuable insights. Would it be OK if I mentioned you as a potential reviewer for the Journal of Creation? They are looking for fresh ideas and referees who are deeply committed to the Bible all the time. I highlighted the phrase "inappropriate language" in your post. I must admit that I may have failed to assess this part of the persecution before.

"Inappropriate language"? They mentioned the Creator for God's sake! This means that the Chinese scientists must have been correct! They results are strengthened by this persecution.

Still, I must say that had this article been submitted to a proper Creationist journal, we would also have wanted to re-phrase this "Creator". Why say just "Creator" when you can say "Jesus Christ" with all His appropriate titles. Please, don't get me wrong. "Creator" IS an appropriate word and their allergy to this wonderful part of our vocabulary clearly defines where these PLOS Editors stand when it comes to Jesus:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Yes, verily, they have changed Jesus into a lie. Let us see, however, how much more accurate, beautiful and informative the sentence in question would be when properly revised:

If we used false gods, such as the traditional Chinese ones, the message would be twisted and its Truth™ value would become unlikely:

This little experiment proves that Jesus is much more reliable as the Creator. It is very frustrating that the Chinese colleagues - despite their best intentions - failed miserably. Fortunately, we can use the persecution by secularists for our benefit. We don't have to concentrate on the somewhat dubious results and conclusions of the Chinese. We can spread the persecution part of this incident as the persecution proves God even more clearly than the hand. After all, many sinners use their hands for self-abuse, which cannot have been God's original idea.
