    Generally, the answer from most secularists would be both, but moving on from that..

                That wasn't exactly mocking. Simply stating an..assumption.

                An immortal being alone in nowhere is bound to get bored, which is probably why he created the earth. Which probably meant that he wanted to have some fun, which is why he'd be "messing with us." At least, this is the impression I'm getting from you guys.
