*sigh* im sure that if there is an atmosphere in space, then there wouldn't be a need for 1.7 billion dollor planes to send people into space. because then we can just hop onto the nearest 747 and be on our way to mars.

your theory is correct except for the fact that the troposfere is only a small part of earth's atsmosphere...scientist say vacuum i do not know is this correct, because if never been to space

so what i'm saying is that scientist are right if their such thing called vacuum ? also havent they measured the distance with unmanned rocketflights?

Of course vacuums exist. Doreen loves the Dyson I bought her for Christmas.

Alright, I have been watching these forums for a little while and I have to speak up. Just about every single person on this forum shows a absolute lack of understanding of even the most basic of science and no critical thinking skills. I will debunk this claim now.

Light does propogate and is not just on or off:
Light does 'travel' at a speed of 3*10^8 m/s. This has been shown with Maxwell's equations which are not secret. All anyone has to do is search them in google or wikipedia. This has been verified by thousands of independant people. The reason it does not destroy things that it hits is because the particles has 0 rest mass. The particles are absolutely tiny and can pass between the atoms that make up most matter.

I will be happy to refute any claims you make against science except for evolution and old earth.
