Wait... Where in the scripture does it state the sun is coal?

I am an amateur astronomer and I can project an image of the sun onto a screen using my telescope. Sometimes darker areas or 'sun spots' become visable. These areas are fresh coal deposited by God to keep the sun from going out. Some years there are more 'sun spots' (fresh coal) and this always corresponds with a hot summer, as you would expect if fresh coal had been added. I have attached the evidence.

Just one question, if the sun is ~ 500 miles away, and my mum lives 630 miles away, does that mean im closer to the sun right now than my mum?

Hypothetically speaking, since we don’t seem to work in facts on here anyway, if I had a vehichle that could drive vertically and my brother had the same vehicle that drove on land, both going at 70mph, id arrive at the sun before he arrived home at my mums?
