Gravity bends space and light follows a bend trajectory, which is a slight difference. To make all the light go to earth, gravitational force had to great enough not to make the light escape. You know what earth would be then? A black hole. And no, that is not a gay reference.

A black hole does not support life. Life exists on earth. So a earth is no black hole and your utterings are wrong.

The problem you overlooked is that physics is not only a qualitative science, but also a quantitative one. That light is bend by the earth in general does not mean that the degree to which it is bend is sufficient enough to ensure ongoing daylight.

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums! If you get no reply to this post it's because this so-called "problem" has been addressed ad nauseam and people figure you'll eventually find the "search" function. This way, we can come here and spend our precious time the way in which the wants us to - praising Him in fear and obedience (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

So tell us, how did you come to find ?

But then we would not have time zones :| when the sun is parallel to the earth it will be sunrise everywhere and when it is parallel on the other side it would be evening everywhere.

I didn't think I would need to put evidence down because I thought you would have rationality in your brain. Nevertheless, It's come to the conclusion you don't, and you just believe in a text book which anyone could have wrote; mostly in days where they didn't understand the world or science. Now, that's not using the logic you may having; believing in something without positive evidence. We all know that Earth is spherical with the large amount of evidence supporting it, in contrast to just one evidence you have which isn't sufficient enough. You can see this evidence of the Earth being a spherical shape with the ships and horizon of the sea, leaving the top to last. The different variation of the star constellations depending where you are on Earth. The centre of gravity, which IS real, attracting things to it. The different existence of timezone on this planet, from day and night time. If the Earth was flat we would see the sun even if it didn't shine on top of us. The existence of other planets and suns being spherical - this is all because of gravity etc etc. The ability of going into space over the past 60 years, taking pictures of the earth, and then acknowledging it's shape. The existence of the Virgin Galactic space craft that is in operation the end of this years, taking the general public to see the Earth true shape.

In the years to come, space programs will send the public into space, then you will see the truth about the Earth and other planets, thus making your book wrong.

"And after these things I saw four angels standing on four corners of the Earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree." Revelation 7:1.

"That it might take hold of the ends of the Earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?" Job 38:13.

"O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the Earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit." Jeremiah 16:19.

"The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ends of the Earth." Daniel 4:11.

It isn't flat. We all know that. This must mean your biblical source is wrong.

We follow the Holy Bible, not your cockamamie theories. Try reading this thread from the beginning.

When you are born, you get baptised. That needs to be done within the forst 6 months.

At the age of 3, sunday skool starts till the age of 12. During that period, you don't enter the church exept for a marriage, or when someone dies.

I missed that pat because at that age, I was part of an other religion. At the age of 14 I changed religion.

at the age of 18, you need to be baptised again. BUT: you get 7 years to decide if you want to be baptised again or not. If you aren't at the age of 25, you are kicked out and that's it.

If you do get babtised, you hade one year of bible studie and things you need to do for the community. Than after a year you can be baptised if you did your year ok.

After that, you are obliged to work for your community and you are a full member.

I can get married with someone that isn't babtised. But he can NEVER enter our church.
I don't know what religion you follow, but whatever you just described is not Christianity. None of that comes from the Bible. It sounds like something somebody made up.

What is the name of your cult again?

So gay people were just spilling their sperm

But now we know that that isn't true.Sperm isn't limited. our body makes it over and over again.

Plus: relations where there to have children. Not because you love someone, just to have children.

Now it is different. people have relationships because they love eachotherand there are a lot of people who don't want to have kids.

We don't believe in the bible as "the word from all times". We do believe it's old and need to be updated.
    Blasphemy!

    Sorry, not interested.

have you ever been in a plane? because when your in a plane you can clearly see a rounded horizon, thus cuncurring my obvious statement of the earth being round

oh and i dare any of you washed up fat christian assholes to deny this statement and come up with a reason to defend your argument
