Firstly, the Bible is written in straightforward language. If I can just go through the Bible, replacing words I don't like with words I do like, then I can make the Bible say whatever I want it to say.

The Bible isn't a riddle or a mystery to be solved. It is God's Word to man. What use is would it be if we had to guess as to what it means?

Secondly, even if you replace "day" with "phase", the Bible and Darwin still say different things. The order of creation doesn't match the order that evolution says things appear. The Bible tells us that were created before the sun. Plants need sunlight to live. They can go for a day without sunlight, but they can't live for millions of years without it.

The Bible also tells us that plants were created before insects. Flowering plants need insects to pollinate and reproduce. Again, if we are talking actual days, and not millions of years, then this is not a problem. However, it's a huge problem for Darwinism.

There are many more examples like this.

Thirdly, the Biblical creation story doesn't make any sense when you replace "day" with "phase".

Gen 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Fase one: the creation of the sun

If the light is day, and the darkness is night, then do evening and morning make up a 24 hour-long day, or a multi-million year "phase"?

because we don't believe god wrote his book in the ordinaire language that the humans use because he is to smart for that and wouldt put himselve that low.
We believe he wrote the book in a difficult way so we should think about his words and any the true believers who tried it and those who are smart enough would understand him.

But I am a protestant so it is different ...

I used to think I was an intellectual but I realized I wasn't truly smart until I did and believed whatever God's holy anointed pastors told me to believe. My PhDs and publications meant nothing compared to being a sheep in God's flock. I renounced forming my own opinion when God's messengers are here to tell me what He wants me to think. If you were smart, you'd do the same.

Lots of people call themselves Christians, but they aren't saved. Only people who believe and follow God's Word are Christians.

Darwin says the man evolved over millions of years. The Bible says that man was created in one day. You can't believe both. Which side are YOU on?

The sun does not move. The earth however rotates around the sun and pivotes on an axis of its own thus creating day and night, thus creating summer and winter, thus meaning i cant remember where i was goin with this.

The sun is always very far away, it's because of the Earth's rotation around it's own axis

So if the earth rotated faster the sun would be farther away? How DOES the earth's 'rotation' control the sun's distance?

A sniper has to take the curvature of the earth into account when he is shooting over extremely long distances, like 1.5 miles. Ofcourse, he has equipment that can correct this curvature for him. Same thing goes for the rotation of the earth
