If you wish to see evidence of micro evolution, you shouldn't have to look any further than the kids you had sell those sandwiches. Those kids would have taken different traits from their parents. However macro evolution (which I'm assuming you were trying to prove with a "person climbing out of the jar) cannot be done in a month's span. Macro evolution takes place over an extremely long period of time. Sadly not quick enough to be observe the noticeable changes between species.
If you are genuinely interested in it, I would recommend you read up on it. There are many ways to gain that kind of information. It can be an interesting read to see how things adapt to survive an ever changing world.
