Got any scripture to back this nonsense up?

Re: Questions that evolutionist can’t answer
Since I'm such a lazy bastard I'll answer some of your questions because there's far too much of them.
Mud is when water soil/dirt mix together.
We didn't come from sharks and sharks were from a group of creatures that decided to stay in the ocean. Look up the mudskipper. The fish that all modern life descended from were fish just like the mudskipper as the mudskipper can crawl around on land and it can breathe in air.
All monkeys didn't turn into humans. Some split into different groups of ape, one of those ape groups were us, Homo Sapiens.
Trees grow very slow and most of them only live up to about a century or two. To reach that height in time for modern day trees is impossible.
We don't behave like previous apes or monkeys because we're too intelligent for that...well some of us anyway.....

Re: Questions that evolutionist can’t answer
Thanks for that, Rod. Yes there's been some weird stuff come out from Rome and their views on the stars are a bit odd:
Vatican astronomer Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno will be blogging on astronomy in the Bible and how Scripture views the universe.Curator of the Vatican's meteorite collection, Brother Guy has been at the Vatican Observatory since 1993. His current research has him exploring connections between meteorites, asteroids, and the evolution of small solar system bodies.
And thanks Eth too for that pic. Did you spot those two men [right] in the door? Check out what they're up to with the legs! Priests are told not to take wives (well, at least not their own wives) and so we get- you'd have to be mad or a perv to be a priest in the first place
- they are all sex starved and so dream up the sort of stuff you linked to
- then they preach it as truth and who but a mug would heed them?
Exodus 20:4 & some of 5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:
and in fact they must HATE God if you look at the rest of verse 5:
rest of 5 …for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
…but it might be good to chat with them on their blog a bit and learn some more. What do you think Eth?

There's no end to the Catholic insanity, Reverend!Originally posted by Rev. M. Rodimer View PostSo Catholics think there are aliens, and that the "heavenly beings" in the Bible, and angels, are little green men from Mars.
We already knew they were insane. Thanks for the evidence!
It was decided centuries ago that Jesus' "holy" foreskin was what made the rings of Saturn.

"During the late 17th century, Catholic scholar and theologian Leo Allatius (Allacci Leone) published the treatise De Praeputio Domini Nostri Jesu Christi Diatriba (“Discussion concerning the Prepuce of our Lord Jesus Christ”) in which he proposed that the Holy Foreskin had ascended into heaven at the same time as Jesus, and had become the recently observed rings of Saturn."

That is why science asks: could it be this? could it be that? could it be one thing at all? No.Originally posted by WWJDnow View PostThe Koran is filled with inconsistencies and intolerance and cruelty, but you'll never get a Mohammedian to admit it. Science is not so hot. We need to use The Mind to probe these things as far as we can.
As far as they will go.
Then we'll learn the truth. And the truth is out there but our minds are small and prone to mad. Mad like "the sky is a lid" or "dead folk squirm up from the ground and scare us"
notMatthew 27:52-(some of)54 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly
Soon the stars will shout!

OK, I'll grant it doesn't actually say "kill them" but I think thats pretty clearly expected in a war, don't you.
Originally posted by YouIn the bible it encourages war on non-believers as well.
Emphasis mine.
You have changed your position on whether the Koran tells people to kill.
It is a pain admitting you're wrong. Lord knows I hate it as much as, if not more than, anyone.
But everyone on this forum has had to do it. Every True Christian on here was unsaved at one point and has had to draw themselves up and say "I did that wrong. I misread or didn't read the Bible. I followed a fake God. I was wrong."
You write a lot in your posts. Maybe you lose track of what you have said in previous ones. Maybe there is something more sinister in it.
The point to take away though is that regardless of your vaunted education, you have come across through a series of "blatant factual errors" as if you don't have a clue what you're talking about.
We don't "claim" the Bible says this or the Koran says that. Or, rather, we do but then we point to the exact passage where it says exactly what we claimed it does.
We've never, to my knowledge, met. But look at this from my point of view. On the one hand I have God saying "do this, don't do that". On the other I have Kathleen saying "God doesn't actually mean that." Which one am I goign to listen to? Which one created the world and then temporarily died to prove their conditional love for those who do exactly what they tell them to? Which one, when push comes to shove, has the power to throw me into a lake of fire and then laugh at me for all eternity as I burn?
Just read what we have to say. The link I posted doesn't say the people on this forum are perfect. I'm not, you're not, Didymus isn't, Noah Sole isn't. The True Christians on this forum are perfect. Because that is what the Bible says. They can back their position up with God's own word. You can back yours up with
Which is basically the same as sticking your fingers in your ears and singing "la la la, Ican't hear you."Originally posted by Youno matter how much scripture you have you will never be able to convince me that a human on this planet is perfect.
Find me scripture that says the True Christians aren't perfect and I'll change my position. I'm not too proud to admit where I was wrong (don't laugh Didymus). Find me scripture that says God only meant his word to apply to a particular time and place not timelessly. I'll revise my opinion.
But you won't be able to, while I can quote several passages saying that God's law does not change, that it applies for all time.
Do you understand our position now?
I think I'm out as well, to be honest.

Calm down Sisters and be at Peace
The raving Godmocker is here to test our faith and persecute us for which we should be truly grateful. Just remember:
Matthew 5:11
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
The Bible also tells us what God will do them that persecute us:
Deuteronomy 30:7
And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
Yours in Christ
Noah

"POSTER IS EITHER IGNORANT, ILLITERATE or INSANE"
Sister MitzaLizalor, I fear that the poster is willfully ignorant, selectively illiterate and intermittantly insane.
She showed such promise by her eagerness to undertake a study of the Bible. How is it that she supposedly sat in a classroom, opened up its solume pages and still cannot see the great Truth that is laid before her?
I despair for this young woman's future. Truly, I despair.

Re: Questions that evolutionist can’t answer
Kathleen, you have so much to say that you can't seem to stay quiet long enough to read the information presented to you.
I will confine my comments to one erroneous statement that you made.
"You are the reason why 9/11 happened in the first place."
No, we are not. No one here gave any orders to take over those planes. No one here filled the hijackers' heads with a lot of goofball nonsense about being rewarded with 72 virgins in heaven for committing an act of violence.
Those people were clearly manipulated by false religious claims. We do not try to manipulate anyone to perform violent acts. We desperately try to get people to read the Bible with open eyes and set aside their limited, murky view of what it actually says.
If you really read the Bible, you would know that the ideal state of spiritual existance is not a carnal one at all. Jesus even talked about being a eunuch for the Lord.
The Bible does indeed speak of Heaven and Hell. It explains how to get to one and how to avoid the other. It never promises a sexy, fun afterlife. It does describe a very painful, excruciating experience in Hell.
Believe what you wish about these visions of life after death. But please stop telling us what the Bible says when you clearly don't know. Despite your academic exposure, you are not looking at the Bible with clear eyes. Indeed, you are missing the point of so very much that is laid before you that I despair that you are ever really able to read or listen to anything without jumping to conclusions.
Conclusively Yours,
Handmaiden

Kath, please do others the favour of actually reading their posts. I've given up you reading mine (like where I ask for clarification of your supposed point that the troubles in Arabia of the time were due to wars, of which one of your claimed participants (the Roman Republic) ceased to exist about 650 years previous to Muhammed's time, and the other (the Parthian Empire) about 400 years previous). Go ahead and deny your blatant factual errors, it's all preserved in black and white.Originally posted by kthln_cunny View Post...Didymus, I know you are trying really hard to prove me wrong, but please don't be so quick to hyperlink me stuff and then you even forget to think about historical timeline or even freaking use google! ...
