I don't accept him as a reliable theologist.

i never said triangulation requires a globe but the measurement the satelites use need to be corrected to account for the thousands of mph they are doing while in orbit of a globe, not a disc.

A volcano going off is not an act of God or a sign of his existence, it can easily be explained by plate tectonics and understanding the make up of the mantle and the core.

Ignoring individual little points it is easy to dismiss religion. For what you claim to be true, almost every scientist since Ancient Greek times (they first hypothesised the atom) to the present day, all western and many eastern and 3rd world governments and science teachers across the world would all have to be part of an elaborate conspiracy of an unimaginable scale. If everything you claim is true it would be a lot easier and cost a lot less energy, effort and money to accept it. If the Earth was flat why would anyone need to claim it was a globe.

Religion is a relic from a time when we had no understanding of the world and needed explanations. We now have science. Religion is a tool used to exert power on the common people. You do not celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December because Jesus was born then but because it meant the pagans in Britain, Gaul and Germanium were able to keep their mid-winter feast and therefore avoid rebellions when Constantine converted the Roman Empire to Christianity.

for a start these scientist did not fake their data they manipulated the way it was shown and a subsequent independent enquiry found they had done nothing wrong or to alter their findings. The other problem with this point is that just a few bad scientist do not make the whole lot rotten. Some Americans are homosexual that does not make you a homosexual.

and as you say it doesn't make sense so why bother? perhaps because the Earth truly is a globe. Accepting the Earth is round is not denying God's existence, the Bible was written before proof the Earth is round was found, they simply did not know, there is nothing wrong with correcting a mistake.
