Science hasn't figured everything out yet, so although I don't believe in deities, it is completely understandable to do so in light of the gaps in science.
But science and it's related fields are so wonderful and amazing, and they don't necessarily negate the existence of God, in fact there are scientists that very religious as well.
    Kind regards

    Hello Eddj87.

I did not think you were trying to change my faith I am sorry if I told you that I do not remember.

I think the problem most people have with science is when science tells you that the Bible is wrong and the Bible is not wrong.

Before my accident I did not believe in Jesus and I made a lot of money and my company did many things that were science related and after my accident I felt that was wrong so I tried to change the company and the company was wrested from me. That is a figure of speech nobody actually pulled the company from me physically it is a legal term.

My children also quit talking to me. My grandchildren are involved.

    Thank you.

Well I can't argue with that type of arrogance
. What I will say though is that this forum has displayed some majore contradictions e.g. You claim that abortion is a sin and life is sacred, and yet in a different thread you condemn babies to hell and have no qualms of their death due to there unintellable atheism????

If god is that much a misogynistic, filacidal, megalomaniacal, arrogant, jealous, sadistic, homophobic, racial fascist then I forego, I am better than he, and as I meet and am embraced with the love of lucifer I conclude his disobedience attributed to the evil nature of the "lord" and wish his rightful place on the throne of heaven may be won after Yahweh's demonic messengers cease their existence on natures wonderful world.

It's easy to grasp any ideological direction from such a subjectively written fictional book
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

I thought you were an atheist. If you don't believe God exists, why are you so angry at Him? And what makes you think lucifer is loving? Do you believe lucifer exists?
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Of course I don't believe lucifer exists, my point was to show that it's easy to come to any conclusion when a book is written in such a way that personal subjectiveness can become as wide spread as it has, if you go by religious logic, lucifer deceives, so what's to say he didn't damn Yahweh to hell and is playing the god role himself in heaven. I would conclude in theogical terms that Yahweh is such an evil deviant, that opposing his dictatorial sadistic regime would Surely conclude that at the very least lucifer would be the better of two evils. But he could well be the most loving, understanding, good natured supernatural deity ever highlighted, all we know is, he didn't conform to the disgraceful nature imposed by your god.

But as highlighted above this is all hypothetical, as neither have, do, or will show any empiricle proof of existence

I don't hate things that I don't believe exist, Its illogical.

          Why do you hate science?

I'm sorry to hear your children don't talk to you, as I feel your theological or naturalistic views should never impede on personal relationships, I don't at all agree with your beliefs, but I am happy you have found salvation and some sort of happiness and normality in your life after your accident. I find you extremely sincere and polite and you set a fantastic example as to how you can have these beliefs but continue to be a genuinely decent person, although I realise our personal level of knowledge is limited. However distant our opinion are, I wish you all the happiness and best

It fills my heart with rage to see somebody like you trying to pass yourself off as a nice person by sweet-talking an innocent such as Rusty.

Why do you call yourself Edd? Does that stand for Employment Development Department?

It figures that you're not gainfully employed.

It's always a mistake to make broad generalizations about entire groups of people, even if those generalizations sound like compliments.

Some atheists are nice. Many aren't. Regardless, the Bible does not exhort us to be "nice," and it tells us that being nice is not enough to keep us from burning in Hell.

Furthermore, some of the greatest heroes of the Bible were demonstrably not "nice."

But they are in Heaven with Jesus right now, because they gave themselves to Him and obeyed His will.

A common argument for why religion and science are compatible is that there are scientists who believe in religion and religious people who believe in science. It's like saying that Catholicism and pedophilia are compatible because there are a lot of Catholic priests who are pedophiles. One either believes the Word of God, or believes in science. One or the other.
