            Don't you see Mrs. Rogers is only trying to save your soul? You are a sinner. However, God is rich in mercy and grace. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to us 2,000 years ago to (temporarily) suffer and die on the Cross so that we might be saved through His Blood. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to be saved! "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6)

            No man means no one, no exceptions, not even for you! But, if we repent of our sins, "Except you repent, you shall all likewise perish" (Luke 13:3) and call upon the name of the Lord, believing in Him and His Word, He will save us! He will wash your sins away with His Blood, the same way He has washed away my sins!

              I'm new here and eager to accept God's word into my life, but, there are things that confuse me.

              Well, in God's infinite knowledge, He made the Earth. Why would he make something flat that we can just fall off of?

              He also made gravity. You may say it's just a theory, I just say it's a name for the force that keeps us from floating. Gravity should pull everything with mass down, so, it should bring everything together in roughly equal distance from each other, like when you blow a bubble. Probably a bad analogy, but I'm not good with words (unlike God).

              Also, I traveled around the world and I never saw an edge. I went by airplane and by boat (I travel a lot for business). I went from CA to Tokyo, I went to China, I went to Russia, crossed all the seas, no edge. Why can't we see it?

              If the Earth is flat, what's keeping the water from draining out? I don't understand this at all.

              Physics seemed so easy, but this... This is mind boggling. Please, I don't want to go to Hell.

                Think about what you are saying. If the surface of the Earth was round we wouldn't fall off? You have it backwards. The reason we don't fall off the Earth is because it is flat. If it was round we wouldn't have much of a foundation to stand on would we? We would slide off.

                That's right. God is pretty good with words, isn't He? Then why don't you read the KJV1611? Everything you need to know is in there. And there is nothing about "gravity" in there.

                If the Earth was round, the water would be more likely to fall off, silly. The edge of the Earth is frozen. That keeps the water from falling off.

                If you don't want to go to Hell you need to get down on your knees right now and pray for forgiveness for your lack of faith. If you don't believe the Earth is flat then you are saying the Bible is wrong. If you say the Bible is wrong then you hate God. Stop hating God and beg for forgiveness.

                    Please cite scripture IN CONTEXT to show your point. From which book in the Bible are you claiming states this? "the ends of the earth" is in several books from Isaiah, to Job, Proverbs and Jeremiah, just to name a few.

                    One thing I should advise you is, that the Bible is VERY CLEAR that you should not interpret God's words based on what YOU personally believe it means.

                    2 Peter 1:19-21

                    We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

                                Wow.. After reading some more of your posts, I realize that it actually makes sense that the earth is flat. I'm sorry I doubted your logic, I just didn't read it thoroughly enough.

                                I am a protestant, but after going through this websites extensive archives of scientific proof, I might have to consider converting.
