Where you're wrong is that I don't damn people to hell for not believing in what I believe. I don't tell people that they will burn for eternity if they don't interpret the bible the same way as me. I merely tell people that I'd rather trust a modern eye at what people may have encountered back then and if i use a word like ignorant it's because I don't think it's right to filter all other beliefs because they are not backed up by a book that was written before electricity and modern technologies. An example, A few years back an army aid mission brought food and supplies to a remote island who have never seen planes or helicopters before, when the aid left the islanders started creating helicopters and planes from grass and praying to them in hopes that their "gods" would return with more food and supplies. I do not condemn people if their beliefs are different.

I believe men wrote that book. Last time I checked it didn't say Holy Bible Written by God. It wasn't god sitting and documenting these events.

When did i say there was no god? I believe in God. I'm just not a crazy radicalist christian. I don't believe you need to beat the sin out of your wife. I don't believe i need to stone every gay person I see. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" I don't beleive you all would enjoy being stoned or beaten. I'm a good person and refuse to cause any harm to others. I believe in the bible. But I look at it in a modern way with in inteligent eye.

Because unlike you, I believe that rational thought is the best defence humanity can employ to prevent the world from descending further into chaos and to improve the lives of all people, regardless of colour, race, gender etc. Granted, we are not at that level yet, but time heals all wounds and maybe one day people will look back at the society of today and both pity us for our short-sightedness but also understand that it is a necessary step along the road to salvation on Earth.
