Just a quick question. If the earth is flat then gravity can't exist... so why am I being pulled down to the ground when I jump? I think the people on http://theflatearthsociety.org/ used to say that the earth is constantly moving up, and therefore we are pushed down. But how do you explain it?

... Obviously you don't, so I'll explain it roughly. Gravity pulls everything to the centre, so when the earth was created the matter was pressed to the centre creating a sphere shaped planet. That’s why the earth, the sun, the stars, the moon and all the other planets are round.

No the scriptures you are quoting can be interpreted in many ways. They are not meant as black and white statements... Otherwise the Bible could not be timeless. We are meant to take its message and adapt it to our situation. You would have been burned as witches for a lot of the technology you are using today and accept as science when, back in the day, it was seen as magic. In the bible it says you shall not suffer a witch to live etc etc. And you shall not use magic.

Modern technology was not seen as magic back in the day. It did not exist back in the day. Read a history book. Even if it had been, that would have been a misperception. God would still know the difference.
