Even a christian should admit that the earth is not flat.

To say that the world is not flat you would have to say that the word of God is wrong and that Jesus was a liar. What sort of Christian would do that??

Even a christian should admit that the earth is not flat. We have been to outer space and seen it for ourself. Also, those pictures you showed are just artist's impressions of the end of the world. They are not real.

Look - I'm not a big fan of the idol-worshipping Roman Papists, but even they knew how to deal with scientists claiming "facts" contradicted the Bible as late as 1600 in the case of Giordano Bruno.

There are of course a number of things where the Papists have wrongly given in to the push of secular humanism... In the end they even turned against the time-honored Christian tradition of enslaving and selling humans.

But to be fair, the Vatican fully and vocally supported slavery later than most, until at least 1866:

"Slavery itself...is not at all contrary to the natural and divine law...The purchaser [of the slave] should carefully examine whether the slave who is put up for sale has been justly or unjustly deprived of his liberty, and that the vendor should do nothing which might endanger the life, virtue, or Catholic faith of the slave."

And they only fully caved in 1917 and changed canon law to make slavery illegal, at a time when secular humanism had already won over public opinion. God must have wept on that day.

And while they did effectively shut Bruno up, you can tell how far they have strayed from the noble path - the punishment for heresy (as well as most other ungodly things) is clearly stated in the Bible as stoning. Burning is meant for books that disagree with the word of God:

Acts 19:1920
[19] Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
[20] So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

So you see, you are wrong: Any True Christian should be on God's side in the argument about whether the Earth is flat. After all - the Lord God created the whole flat earth! I mean - it's not like God was merely the sparking figment of a ruffled red cape, artistically draped into the general shape of the cerebrum with an anthropomorphic limbic system... But I digress.

Repent or you too shall suffer for eternity!

I'm really appalled at how all these "scientists" and "teachers" are indoctrinating our impressionable youth with myths about the world being round. First these scientists sneak in that the world in round, then they try to poison their minds with ungodly evolution theories.

It won't be long before they have our children showing "tolerance" to other people's sinful and depraved homosexual lifestyles!

It is a good thing that there are True Christians™ around to set the record straight.

If the world was a globe and you flew straight you'd end up in space as the world curved away below you. Ever noticed that happening?

thats called Gravity and lift, a plane cannot exceed a certain angle based on the air pressure of the system and altitude it flies at.

So basically, its auto correcting itself.

And that doesn't explain why you end up in the same place.

If the earth isn't round, then how come at any place on earth, in a plane, at a very high altitude you can see the curve of the earth?

Why is it that when Apollo circled the earth, it showed all the frames of the earth rotating one full time and then some?

And, flight is basic physics of air pressure, air goes over wing, causes low pressure, pulls plane up, this is called Bernoulli's principle

Also planes were not intended for Violence, they were first used for transportation before the republican government adopted them for the military

I know that Apollo circled the earth because you can google the video of Apollo taking off from the launch pad, and a few hours later on TV see the rocket send back what it is seeing

Special effects didn't exist in the 1950's

the only thing "special" about movies and such was clay-mation and frame modelling to make movies like King Kong and Super man
