If I wasn't forced to believe in something I knew deep in my mind that it isn't true at the age of 6 because of fear of Hell maybe I would give it a second thought. After skimming through so many versions of the Bible, I came to realize that not only the Bible is a book of fairy tales but also that if God would show Himself I wouldn't follow Him. Somebody who sends good people in a torture environment for all eternity just because they don't believe in Him is not worthy of respect.

If I wasn't forced to believe in something I knew deep in my mind that it isn't true at the age of 6 because of fear of Hell maybe I would give it a second thought. After skimming through so many versions of the Bible, I came to realize that not only the Bible is a book of fairy tales but also that if God would show Himself I wouldn't follow Him. Friend, what happened to make you hate God so much? Was it all those different versions of the Bible that got you angry and confused?

The Earth is spherical. We have mathematics, science, and even satellite imagery to prove it. We also have prove that the earth is not the center of the universe, nor the solar system. And we have proof that nothing is flat in the universe unless you count flat as being infinitely deep and long in both directions.

Who are you going to believe? Scientists and their "we believe", "conjecture is", "theory states" or the absolute word of God.

Bible=Written, edited, and translated by man. The bible is the inspire word of God. The only part of the bible that was literally written by God was, IIRC, the Ten Commandments given to Moses.

As for scientists, they have large volumes of proof that supports one another. Not just one experiment done one time, but several dozens to thousands+ different experiments done dozen to thousands+ times each and roughly the same result was reached every time.
