I don't want you to read "a decent amount of the Bible", I want you to read the whole thing. You know, actually educate yourself as to to what is really in there. Instead of making ignorant assumptions about "inconsistencies and contradictory information", find out for yourself. Give it two hours a day, and you'll be done in a month. Something allowed your brain to happen, it seems ingrateful not to use it.

So your not disagreeing that you like to make assumptions...
Who's the one making assumptions here? The one who refuses to actually familiarize themself with the subject matter at hand, maybe?

I think it's trying to shock us.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Thanks for persecuting us. It feels good.

oooo did i hit a nerve with the closet homosexual thing? are we getting a little mad there?

Shame as it does teach the contradictions in the bible which is always nice as people like to avoid them
And they do teach gods wrath its just that no one really cares about something that clearly wont effect them as you know people like to enjoy there life and not worship magical a deity. Ill imagine heaven is real for a second and it would be full of you people i mean wow i think id stick to the fiery torment of a hell rather than stuck with you lot for eternity.

The problem with throwing quotes at me is that the bible is full of contradictory stories and "facts" so i find it hard to find truth in a lot of quotes that get thrown at me when it could have been another mistranslation.

So your not disagreeing that you like to make assumptions, that's nice to know as you seemed to be getting a little mad, maybe you should go pray and chill out a little.

Who keeps on making assumption about the Bible without even reading it? I have to presume that you’re either mentally deprived or a child.

The whole butt pirate thing isn't really offensive to anyone in the modern world apart from your lovely sect of society.

Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him. 23And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way. 24But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side. 25And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again. 26And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left. 27And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff. 28And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? 29And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. 30And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

See! I told you you didn't know much about the Bible. I bet you never looked at whether donkeys can talk in RE.

And you try to tell me God isn't powerful when He can make a donkey rebuke its owner!

    PRAISE!
