yes but some times you have to take what the bible says with a grain of salt. its like Chinese whispers. after a while scripture is changed through out time. god may of said the earth was spherical but the person writing it down may of wrote it wrong

show me on a map the four corners. not every part of the bible should be taken literally. how can we be so certain that was is in the bible today was spoken by God.

Do you really think God isn't powerful enough to ensure that His Word was written down correctly? The KJV1611 is God's literal Word and is unchanging.

Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

If God had made the Earth spherical, then we would run into all sorts of problems. If you had read the thread you would know that on a sphere, the water would all slide off, and the people on the bottom of the sphere would fall. Not only that, but a sphere wouldn't be very firm standing on its foundations. You have to think more logically, boy.

God does not need to do anything to impress.

The miracle of life is the best as far as I am concerned. A spherical Earth would of been 'Ho-Hum' in comparison. He knows it and therefore did not bother.

Just a query though, what would you do if NASA agreed to put you in a space rocket, take you out to outer orbit and look upon earth and you saw with your very own eyes the earth WAS round, not flat.

its absurd of you to think its absurd. water does not come out of the bucket if spun round at a fast rate. please try it you will be amazed. i believe in god however not all of what is written in the bible can not be taken as fact. man has made changes to it. or maybe god said that at the time to help with mans understanding. introducing ideas such as spherical would of been to confusing to some one back then. however since man has advanced he has allowed us to discover things for our selves such as a spherical earth. the more advanced we become, the more we uncover amazing god is. it keeps our belief going other wise we have nothing new to look forward to
