Nothing is forced. If a proof of a concept is too complicated for you, that does not mean it is forced. Do you understand what would happen if the earth was flat? Google, my fellow Atheist, can tell you.



Like I said, it's not that simple. There's no reason to stick to what some person wrote in a book thousands of years ago. We've moved on. We know things they didn't.

Forced or not, I've proved my case; can you prove yours? (And please, do not reply with a phrase from the Bible, try to provide hard facts )

Seriously, I could say so much about this. I know all about your so called science. I’ve studied classical physics as well as more modern one, including theory of relativity. I know all about how you constantly make up new theories because the old ones were insufficient: “Oh my! If we put this satellite into orbit calculating like Newton, our math will be wrong. Hmm… What if we pretend that the speed of light is constant? Hmm… There would be some bizarre side effects by doing so but what the heck, let’s do it”.

I’m pretty sure I would beat you in any test. But nothing of that matter, because your science is just fiction, made up as an academic mind game. Unfortunately an awful amount of people tends to believe in it, dedicating their lives to further contribution. I can play that game, but I don’t approve. Because the true nature of everything is given by the Bible. And if you are thinking that the Bible is not valid because it’s an old book, well friend, that’s just stupid. Truth is eternal and doesn’t change.

I would love to talk more to you about matters like this, but there are some things you have to understand first.

1. You came to us. We don’t need to prove anything to you (but we are often willing to discuss).

Prove it. You have asserted there is no Heaven and no Satan; the burden of proof is on you.

Allow me to explain.

When we die, we are unknowing (Ecclesiastes 9:5 <-- hover your mouse over it to see the verse). But at Judgment, God will resurrect EVERYBODY, including all the sinners and nonbelievers of all sorts, no matter how nice. All who followed His Law and believed in Jesus will spend eternity praising God for His Perfection, and serving Him in Heaven.

Everyone else, no matter how nice the unbeliever, will be cast into God's Lake of Fire and burned alive for all time. So will Satan.

Satan will be too busy shrieking in unending agony to be bothered having social events with you.

1) Jump![/B]
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.

Momentum, and all the air around you is moving at the same speed of the earth rotation, simple as that.

2) Blow!
Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.

3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.

Did you even bother to read the whole thread or just the first page? (No need to answer, the question was rhetorical).

Obviously logic and common sense doesn’t apply to you? How about solid proof?

What’s described here would not be possible with a spherically shaped earth, and without a round earth there is no need for theories about spinning and orbiting.

Alright ive read some pretty odd things on here but this is by far the oddest.
The earth without doubt is round and the reason I know this is when you jump out of A C-130 cargo plane at any altitude above 10 thousand feet you can clearly see how the earth curves.

Another thing that disproves this is that if the earth were indeed flat and it is stationary like you claim it to be then how is there A sunset and sunrise? The rotation of the earth generates an electromagnetic field that protects us from the suns UV rays and its common science that anything that has A mass of that greater than that of its surrounding objects its gravitational pull will draw it closer. Since the mass of A truck is not as significant as that of earth its gravitational pull is canceled out by earths mass. And to answer your question about the water yes theoretically speaking it is falling off the earth but the gravitational pull of earth holds it close so being in A liquid state all it can do is flow.

If anybody has any questions about this id be happy to answer them but please nobody believe this bologny for A second. Ive seen the roundness of the earth with my own two eyes ive felt the earths gravitational pull let me go at an altitude of 30 thousand feet. Dont believe what people say do your research or go experience it for yourself like I did.

And the ballon thing has A simple explanation. Go get magnets of different charges its obvious that they are attracted to eachother right? Well if you rub A balloon against something with A different electric charge than that it already has then the ions on the balloon become positively charged. Paper on the other hand maintains A negative charge at all times that is why they are attracted.
