Since I didn't see a [/sarcasm] tag in the first post, I am going to assume that the idiot that wrote it actually believes his nonsense.

How foolish can you people be? How can you claim to have knowledge in such things? Are you yourselves God? Do you think that you are as intelligent as He? It is people like you, who read without learning, and speak without truth that are causing the current falling away from Christ and his glory. It is YOU who is preparing a place for Satan when he comes during the tribulation, because it is YOU who is misleading Christians.

Scientific fact is generally common sense, as is the Wisdom of the Bible. There is no trickery involved in either. God gave us minds to use, to learn, and to understand. He gave us the ability to create, and destroy. And yet you think you know better than He?

Look at this: The Earth is moving at 1000 MPH... doesn't that mean that everything ON the Earth is also moving at that same speed? When you jump up in the air, you are moving in an easterly direction at 1000 MPH. If you had the ability to reach escape velocity, you would see that when you jumped out of the atmosphere, you would not land in the same place. This is why there are "landing windows" for spacegoing craft.

Also, the balloon theory is just plain dumb. That object is not MASSIVE enough to have it's own gravitation pull. There is NOTHING but AIR inside of it. There is no core. There is only a void filled with something lighter than the object itself. Also, it is not spinning. We know that the Earth rotates because of watching the stars, and other objects in the Universe, which God also created, in relation to the Earth.

Also, the reason you can see more because of height is BECAUSE of the curve of the Earth. If it were flat, you'd be able to see forever, until a mountain or other object blocked your view. But, this isn't the case, is it? If the world were flat, how could the globe be circumnavigated? you'd fall off the edge at some point. Austrailians couldn't cross the Pacific to reach California, or Americans couldn't cross the Atlantic to reach Africa. You can't have it both ways, "Reverend." Your "creation scientists" who work on your dollar, only say what you tell them to say. You should find more wise ways to spend your money... like spreading the true Word of God to the masses who have not heard it.

We follow the WORD of God - the KJV1611 TO THE LETTER. I for one have been doing as such for 30 years. It is not my fault or anyone elses, that you have to play "catchup".

Now, if you read (which I doubt) a per-version of God's Word (NIV, Holmans, et al for example) then it is YOU twisting His TRUTH.

Out of interest, which "version" of the Bible do you claim to glean your life instruction from?

Also as to your "points", cite verse to back up your claims!
