Yes I have been on many cruises. I never hit the edges though. God tells us that the earth is flat and scripture has been posted to show this TRUTH.

I am not "trying" anything.
I know the air can escape at any time. But that's not the point. Why would the air leave? What is there to replace the air? Nothing...unless water poors in, which it doesn't because that's what the metal hull is for. to keep the water out.

A boat can remain floating forever without captain. Just go to your local harbor. Most ships don't have anyone on them, nor would those ships sink when their captain dies. This works the other way around, creating a raft made of bricks will sink, captain or not.

Then again, I do realise creating a boat is crafsmanship which in Noah's story, was done by the knowledge of God. He gave Noah (and with that all / most humans) the knowledge needed to craft ships.

Why would the air leave just because one more hole? It doesn't change the fact that a ship is open anyway, according to scientists the same thing should happen in the same circumstances, which is obviously not the case here, so science is wrong.

And of course a boat doesn't sink when it's parked and on the parking break in the harbor, just like cars don't crash when they're parked in the garage. Are you intentionally being obtuse?

Ah, thanks for correcting me, I was sure I'd been wrong, I've been wrong about alot of things I've come to find out since I've come to peruse this site, and am trying hard to correct my way of thinking and my belief. Because though I was given free will, there is only one way to use that will correctly. Though some would argue that if that were the case, it wouldn't be "Free will" at all. I now see those people are fools and will burn in hell.

Like, how there is only one way to look at the situations depicted. Like Mary giving birth as a Virgin. If a woman is pregnant, in her case, without having ever laid with her husband, of course there's only one way it could have happened. The angel came down and placed the son of God within her womb. Not that she cheated on her husband.

Just like how if you stumbled upon the tomb of a man claiming to be the son of God, three days after he was lain to rest, the only reasonable explanation is that he came back to life and moved the rock using the Force, not that some one got curious for whatever reason and went snooping.

Or that every thing the bible says is true, because it's the word of God. Though it's the word of God written by the hand of man, though man is imperfect.

I'm not trying to be obtuse, just adding perspective.
I realise that a standstill car doesn't crash when it's owner dies. But when a captain of a moving ship dies (and he's alone), he would run into something sooner or later and the boat will be damaged and there's a slight chance it'll sink. But that's not by the hand of God, but common sense.

"one more hole", with that I meant a hole in the hull of a ship (under the water line). Fill up a bath / bucket, get a glass and keep it straight. (so the bottom down). The glass resembles a boat hull (an oddly shaped boat hull), and push it halfway into the water. Did water enter the glass? Not here. Felt that upwards pressure, making it harder to push the glass down? That's the floating capacity of your glass. Now push the glass innagain, and now slowly push it in far enough for water to poor over the edge. What happens? As water poors in, it pushes the air out, and the glass loses it's floating capacity. In fact, the glass sinks. That's because glass is heavier then water. But because it can hold the water out when it's straight, it floats.

It's like a reversed helium balloon; a balloon keeps the helium
in. A boat keeps the water out. But that doesn't require the air to be sealed in, because it has no reason to escape (as long as there isnnonhull breach under the water line, or water flows into it.

I hope you understand. I do not doubt God's ways, but I know that God is NLT the only thing making boats float. Like I said, according to the bible, it's by Gods knowledge Noah made his boat. God gave Noah the knowledge he needed to do what he did,
