1.) Point was is disproved simply because the Earth has a greater mass than the truck. If a grain of sand were to pop up in the truck (like a human jumping on the earth) it would simply come back to the truck bed. Furthermore, there is no 10,000 mph wind on the earth because the atmosphere is rotating as fast as the earth. When you do your experiments, make sure they are to scale.

2.) A balloon isn't comparable to the earth because 1, it is hollow and secondly it essentially has no mass and therefore no gravitational pull.

3.) When in an airplane you can only see approximately 222 miles. Our eyes are so limited and the earth is so huge that we cannot see that it is round.

To finalize my argument, the bible wasn't written as a scientific paper. It was written as a salvation history. If you believe in the science of the Bible you would believe we live in a dome with land floating on top of water. That is what genesis tells us.

Wrong - If the earth were rotating like you claim (with the gravity mumbo jumbo) the heavens would create drag on the air, causing the wind. True, it may not be traveling at 10,000mph at ground level but it'd be going 5,000mph I bet. Which it is not.

2.) A balloon isn't comparable to the earth because 1, it is hollow and secondly it essentially has no mass and therefore no gravitational pull.

Fine. Fill the ballon with water and get back to me.

I'll by the vision/distance thing. But that is zero proof the Earth is round. It certainly looks flat. If the Earth were round, it would be downhill to the bottom of the earth. All the water in the ocean would flow down. It doesn't.

If going to space isn't possible, how do you explain the lasers the put on the moon or how you can see the moon buggy through a decent telescope?

You may want to inform the scientific community then, because they say it's too small to be seen with any telescope on earth. The only photos are from the Hubble (NASA owned, imagine that).

As for the lasers, prove their there. WITHOUT using a NASA reference.

If you had bothered to read the thread this has been debunked so badly. We've gone as big as a 4' diameter Jolly Ball (very dense) the paper fell off easier every time we went up in size. So the more mass, seems to mean the less attraction.

We know the Earth is flat because the Bible tells us so. But for those of you skeptical, close-minded types that flat out refuse to accept the overwhelming Biblical evidence, I have designed some experiments you can do at home that will show you, before your very eyes, that the world is indeed flat, and not spherical as some crazy scientists proclaim. It's amazing how many people blindly believe in a spherical Earth, without ever having seen it for themselves! I intend to change that.


1) Jump!
Now, scientists claim that Earth is spherical and rotating at a speed of between 700-1000 miles per hour, depending on your latitude. This is a very high rate of speed. You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?

If you were to stand in the flat bed of a truck going 75 mph, and jump straight up, what would happen? You wouldn't fall straight down. You would fall out of the truck. That's because trucks move, the Earth doesn't. This experiment proves the Earth is fixed in space and doesn't move.


2) Blow!
Since if the Earth is supposedly a sphere, it naturally comes to assume what would happen to people below the equator, like in Australia? Since they are underneath the sphere, wouldn't they fall off? This is where scientists come up with mumbo-jumbo like "gravity" and "centrifugal force" to explain away their theories. So, the scientists want you to think that because the earth is so much more massive than people or things, that people will naturally "stick" to the bottom of the earth because of gravity.

This can be disproved very simply. Get a balloon and inflate it as big as possible. It will be a spherical shape. Now, take a piece of paper and try to rip, tear, or cut the tiniest speck of paper possible. This paper represents a human being, much smaller in mass to the balloon, which represents the Earth. Now try and place the small piece of paper to the underside of the balloon. What happens? It falls off!

That's right. Even though the balloon is so much bigger in mass, it cannot hold the tiny paper. So if the Earth was a sphere, no one could live below the equator because they would fall off.


3) Get High!
Ok, this one you really can't do at home, but you can do it out in the world. Stand on the ground and look around you. What's the farthest you can see? Maybe it's a building, tree, or mountain. Now, find some place very close to it where you can get a much higher vantage point. (This also works if you're on a jet and about to take off.) Notice how in the higher place you can see much farther? You can see more of the world the higher you get. This shows the world is flat because the higher you go, the easier it is to see over obstacles. At the same time, it shows the world cannot be spherical. Because if the world was curved, the far distance would forever remain out of view because of the Earth's curvature. It would eternally be over the horizon.

If the Earth was a sphere, it would not matter how high you went, you would still see the same thing. Since this is not the case, the Earth is flat.


These experiments are all confirmed by creation scientists as being 100% accurate. If you're skeptical of the flat Earth, why don't you do these experiments so you can see truth with your own eyes.

Hello dear brother, I hold some questions about these experiments which I would like someone to answer. I don't understand a couple of things.

In your first experiment, you state that jumping would make you land in a different spot if the earth is actually turning. Making it non-spherical. I understand that.
I think you all (or at least, most of you) know how it is to be standing in a bus. When it accelerates, turns or breaks, you get pushed around a lot (which, besides really annoying, is true). BUT, when a bus travels at a fixed speed, you are not pushed around at all. So if you'd jump then, you will not at all move.

Also, I see people take into concideration, the fact that if the earth would actually move at this speed, the wind would be devestatingly fast. Could be true, but in all earth's years of existence, the mountains would certainly push the air forward in the same direction, right? You can easily experiment this by stirring in a cup. Even if you stir for a little while, the water will move for a long time after you stopped stirring. And air is pushed around easier then water.

In your second experiment, you state that because a balloon does not "hold" a fickle of paper, "earth" would certainly not hold a human (if on the bottom half of the planet). But say you have a 3 feet wide balloon (which I actually have laying around here), and you have a fickle of paper which is one fiftieth of an inch in size. Say that I am around 5,5 feet in size. I think this experiment is not a good representative of the real world, because if you would increase the fickle of paper and the balloon together, until the fickle of paper is as big as me, the fickle of paper and the balloon would end up 3.300 times bigger. This would make the fickle of paper my size (5,5 feet), and the balloon 9.900 feet (around 2 miles).

Even if earth was only 100 miles big (which it isn't, it's bigger then that), you would need a balloon that's 50 times the size of this one. 150 feet. And a fickle of paper that's one fiftieth of an inch. Good luck with that!

But "mass", like you use it, is used wrong. Mass, like scientists use it (which you need to know if you want to make a real, viable experiment). Mass, in the world of science, is what is generally known as weight. So, to get a (more) representative approach to this, you would need a sphere with a composition that matches earth's. Say, rock. And 150 feet big (at least).

Even if you'd manage to obtain a rock sphere of that size, you will not be able to "stick" anything to it, because you are so close to earth, the planet's "gravity", or "mass", or weight, will beat that sphere to it, and pull the feckle away from the sphere.

In your third experiment you state that, if the earth was really spherical, you will only be able to see a small part of it. Just like a balloon or any other object, you can only see one side of it at a time. But, to expand on that statement, half of a spherical object, is one whole side. So, if earth was spherical, and you would look at it like you do to a balloon, you would only be able to see half of it (at best). But half of earth...is really much. No human will ever witness being that far away from earth to see one entire half of it. This makes this experiment without results so far, because no-one has actually done the whole thing. Of course you can climb on top of mountains, but there is always something blocking your view, so there is no point in doing that and stating that the results as if they were truth.

Because of the wind blowing over the top of the gravel truck.
You can experiment this by putting some sand in your hand, close your hand tightly, start walking at a solid pace, and then slowly open your hand. As you can see, all the sand will blow away! This is because your hand moves, and the air doesn't. This causes the air to carry some sand with it.

You could say gravel is heavier and bigger. Then concider the fact that when you walk at a solid pace, you won't be travelling at the speed of a gravel truck. You should realise that when a gravel truck stops, the gravel will stop falling off,.

Read my previous post. And even then, density doesn't mean size. Or even weight. Density, in science terms, is how far particles are apart from each other (within one substance). You can see substance as a room full of people. A room with a lot of people, has a high density (of people). This makes it really hard for you to walk through that room. Like it is quite hard to move through water.
If the room has only a few people, the density is low, and you can move across that room effortless. Just like you, when you move through air. It goes relatively easy compared to water.

The fact that the paper falls of easier when it increases in size, is most likely coincidence or a change in material. If not, I would like you to to that experiment with a small balloon (half inflated) and a big balloon (entirely inflated).

One of the many erroneous argument I hear for a non-biblically round or spherical earth is the way, when standing on a flat plane, there is a horizon.

Rays emanate from the eye, hit an object and return, thus providing us with an image of that object.

People have different powers of vision; some may see for miles, some may have their vision of anything meaningful stop at about 10 foot. It is the strength of this power of sending forth the rays that is critical. Obviously, rays will fall down to the ground after a while and this is the limit of our sight, and, this is thus your personal horizon. There is absolutely no need to go imagining a round or spherical earth.

Devotional Christians never would go to the edge of earth. Indeed, many atheists do, and they really fall down. The LORD will only protect those who do not risk their life for "fun". When a ship or plane is ripped down, the chicken-hearted survivors will say that it is the fault of "Bermuda triangle". What a shame!
